Heroes On The Deck

Originally, this piece was going to be both faster paced and more varied in sound. I even recorded some Yamatsuka Eye wannabe screams for a little grindcore section. But it just didn't feel right for it. Then, just for a lark, I tried slowing it down from 120 bpm to 90 bpm and it just sounded so epic. Then I knew I had found the way to go.

Also, I named this song after a couple of characters from marvel's Great Lakes Avengers, who are a team of losers with kinda crappy superpowers. Except for Squirrel Girl, but she ditched them. They're my favorite marvel super team. The two characters I titled the song both die pointless and horrible deaths during the team's first solo miniseries, hence the 'justice' part of the title.
