Very excited to bring to you the first mix of 2021 - performed at the 'Melburn City Circus' event @ The Industrique (Coburg, Victoria)

This is a super high energy, fast cutting set that spans 32 tracks of my favourite Half time, Drum and bass tracks of the moment. Planned and produced over the course of a few months, including several dj edits to blend it all together.

This is my set from the mighty Snakepit stage at 5.30pm on Saturday - Esoteric Festival 2022. What an absolute honour it was to play this incredible stage at this incredible festival. I poured my heart into this set, spanning 50 tracks, multiple tempo changes, multiple genres. 

This is an epic, heavy, emotional, driving set full of massive bass moments, introspection, inspiration and nods to my favourite current producers.

Atleast 6 months of playlisting and around 30 hours of set design, across a full 1h 30m of mayhem. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed putting it together and performing it to the amazing crowd on the day.

So much love to the organisers of Esoteric and Snakepit for having me down and letting me experience one of my favourite festivals from both the dancefloor and the stage. We all got to share something magical, something that we wont forget anytime soon.

Super excited to share my set from the amazing Melburn Galactica party (on the Hyperspace stage!) An incredible party and electric dancefloor which was an absolute pleasure to play for.

This set is super high energy, blasting off at a million miles an hour until reaching a electric cruising altitude before lowering the BPM to explore some "out of this world" bass excursions. In classic over-complicated Drop Frame set design - this set spans 44 tracks, 3 channel mixing, custom dj edits/mashups and tempo changes.

"The Streets of Whiterun" is one of those tracks that takes me to another world, its an emotional and incredibly beautiful orchestral track that has on many occasions brought a tear to my eye - its on the Skyrim game soundtrack by Jeremy Soule. I've been listening to a lot of the OST recently to relax and work to - and rediscovered how beautiful the original was - This is my take on it, a liquid DNB approach that's meant to be as caring and gentle to the original as possible, it has a slightly more hopeful and upbeat feel. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed creating it.

Super excited to share my set from The Funk Factory - an epic day party I recently played at Bourke St Courtyard! I had the rare chance to play an afternoon slot under the beautiful natural sunlight throughout the venue. A big thankyou to Boydex for organising such a vibey day!

This set fires out of the gates fast, with a big initial emphasis on getting those limbs moving and grooving - then it unfurls into a funky psychedelic technicolour bass journey with interlocking melodies and vocals, moving up and down tempos, diving into different emotional landscapes over time.

This is sort of my soundtrack to spring, budding new life, exploration, winter clouds parting, new friendships forming and colour bursting from the winter gloom. A homage to the warmer months ahead with a nod to the colder months in the past.

I'm proud of this one, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing it on the day.

One of the big ones, almost put out as a single but I ran out of time - this is Prime, the 5th Track from my new album 'The Midnight Sun' now available on all platforms. 

Prime is a bit of a secret weapon and has been featured in a few of my recent sets (recordings on their way!) - originally I was aiming to make a song that reminded me of prime numbers, prime colours, clean divisions of a shape. What ended up eventuating was somewhat of a psuedo mindfulness practice of 5 letters "P R I M E" - a track that lives in a mysterious, but ultimately - booty shaking space.

The original Blaze set from 2019 was the first one I uploaded where I felt comfortable of the trajectory of the Drop Frame project as a whole, it was awesome to come back to bring the evolution of the DF sound to this incredible festival. Starting with the first track.. Runestone.

I was so stoked to be welcomed back to one of my favourite festivals in Australia - Esoteric. An incredibly hot festival - most days getting very close to the 40C degree mark, it was tough going but the community came together and brought an incredible festival experience for us all to share.

This set is one of the most complex ones I've attempted spanning a cool 69 tracks (nice) - it starts with an emphasis towards melody and feeling, increasingly moving up in intensity and along a journey across the hour and a half. I'm really proud of this one and I hope you enjoy what was an incredibly fun set to play on the day. 

A huge thankyou to the Esoteric festival organisers and the incredible Snakepit crew who had me down once again to grace their stage. What an awesome crew doing incredible things for Bass music in Australia.

It was an honour to play this incredible party at Melbourne Pavillion for Melburners! Regional burn parties are some of my favourite because they bring a huge variety of experiences, art and sound to a beautiful audience of likeminded souls. This night was no exception, bringing an amazing group of beautiful people together to celebrate creativity, culture and collaboration.

This set is the final I will be releasing of several sets in the last few months and one which is shorter, more condensed and orientated towards a broader crowd. It's lighter than recent sets, with more of a nod towards positivity, fun, friendliness, emotion, hope and celebrating the power of a good dance together. It's a journey I was proud to bring to the main room of Melbourne Pavillion and share with the beautiful dancers in the crowd.

After this I'll be taking a much needed break to do some travelling and release the remixes for The Midnight Sun over the next few months - then ill be starting sets back up at later half of the year and working on new originals. A huge thankyou for being a part of my recent journey over the last few months, it's been a soul enriching time and im so grateful for your time in taking that journey with me too.

I had the absolute pleasure to play on a brand new and incredible sound camp at this years Underland called ‘The Abyss’. A stage which connected some incredibly techincal and talented lighting and audio geniuses together to bring an amazing space to the paddock this year.

This is my set from 12PM Saturday night - a perfect example of when everything goes right, the sound was on point, the atmosphere was electric and the crowd of beautiful burners kept the energy turned up to the highest. Giant gusts of wind blew into the tent to bring an epic feel to each build and the drops were followed by hoots and howls with everyone stomping their feet in unison. It was an absolute pleasure!

This set spans 62 tracks - months of playlisting and a few last minute editions. It also features a little bit of MIDI based scratching (which is an experiment I’ve been working on). I had a lot of fun revisiting some tracks I loved in the past and giving them a new perspective in this mix.

Its VERY high energy, with no limits - it's 100% full on, peak power, driving and heavy DF at maximum volume. Unbuckle your seatbelts and get ready to groove!

This is my unofficial bootleg of the incredible song 'Forever Held' by Jon Hopkins & Olafur Arnalds (Note: this also samples Jon Hopkins & Ishq's 'alter' which I felt fit in really nicely). 

This track caught my attention the first time I heard it, reading the NASA story also blew my mind (https://djmag.com/news/nasa-collaborates-jon-hopkins-new-single-be-sent-moon-forever-held) - so I thought I would attempt to add a bit of my own spice to it so I could play it at gigs in the future, it turned into a beautiful liquid journey. I thought this mix was lost.

A special, dark, experimental, genre-blending, emotional journey into electronic sound - its a 100% oldschool drop frame set.

This is an album launch set performed at Rubix in 2015 for my album Amartyr. I played live synths and pianos in combination with a complex ableton project setup which blended the album together with all sorts of little bits and pieces. B-sides, experiments and oddities were all thrown in.

A pretty challenging mix to build.

Recently I had the honour of playing at an amazing festival in my home town Perth called Blazing Swan. The first half of the set is a multi-genre bass approach and the second half I took the opportunity to play some of the Hypercolour tracks in full, all highlighted by the epic sound system in the Abode camp. Thanks a bunch to the Abode crew for having me down!

Welcome to the epic dnb and bass set at the Plasma Canopy!

The "Plasma Canopy" was an incredible art installation at this years Burning seed - 150 mapped LED tubes formed a kelidoscopic canopy above a huge dirt dancefloor. This set was built specifically for this dancefloor in mind - a love letter to my favourite drum and bass tracks of the year - channeling some space and futuristic vibes with a whole lot of booty shaking!
