A new year bodes well for new beginnings. Always one to keep a sharp eye on the current state of the scene, Roman Messer launches a new sublabel of Suanda Music, Suanda Future, dedicated to all things tech progressive and future rave.

And what better way there is to kick off the label and showcase its direction than to lead by example. 'Mystery Land' is Roman's very own new single, with its sound harkening back to the groovy and atmospheric melodic tech trance of some 10 years ago but with a decidedly 2022 spin to it. The aptly chosen cover art, with its hints of cyberpunk, reveals the underlying theme for the label and reflects the electrified sound of Roman's brand new record.

With its tempo locked at 126 BPM, 'Mystery Land' is a notch slower and calmer than some might expect from Roman, but it's no less infectious than his other work. With emphasis on soundscapes, swirling textures and soft atmosphere, the track is built around the defined sense of relentless progression throughout, powered by the groovy fat bassline and punchy drums that carry it forward. A perfect choice for gently - but firmly - ramping up the energy in the earlier parts of a DJ set, 'Mystery Land' is sure to be a standout record of the mix.

Summer Melody returns after a short break with a new installment of our Intertwines EP series, showcasing new and upcoming artists in a pair of two, and starting their own fusion towards the label. As the series is back for the summer season, the ninth installment includes two melodic tracks, from artists hailing from the US and Canada respectively.

The brand new installment starts with another fresh debut on the label. We welcome Nautikal with the beautiful track Kyoto. Immediately delivering the nostalgic melodic progressive sound, the track represents the calming yet charming city of Kyoto in Japan, a place full of history and scenery. This track is the first glimpse of this promising producer, which we are looking forward to have him back to the label.

The other side of the release welcomes Sigooma to the label. A producer who has been releasing over on our NuHouse sub-label with deeper sounds of progressive, as well as on labels such as Future Avenue and Soluna, Sigooma finally arrives on Summer Melody with a more melodic-oriented track Generation. The track has focused more on the melodic fluctuation and atmospheric sounds, as a mellow variation on the deep progressive that Sigooma made on his previous tracks.

Having a great year, a very productive one and with loads of support through a lot of the major names in the business, he surely drops another 2 productions here having that great blend of melodies and energy that he is so well known for. 

“I Think Of You” has all the right ingredients to become a new summer anthem for him. It’s a good thing with the world that no matter where we are, there is a summer season and Richard Bass is there to definitely seek it up. With warm melodies, packed with all that feel good vibes, Soothing bass lines and chord progressions that are evolving throughout the track, he surely strikes and he does it in his own style. 

As for “My Ways”, we are getting the vibe and tempo up a bit as this is a bit more energetic in style. With melodies and chord progression evolving all over, he surely is to take us places with this rocking beauty. It’s just another one of “THOSE” from him and we can’t do much more than to lift our hats, he’s done it again and we are of course proud and honoured to see him team up with us once more.
