Combining a history of drum and bass and half-time fundamentals with advances in synth programming and resampling, Energy comes screaming out of the gate with a fierce bite, throwing away any possibility of smooth egress in favor of white-hot bass lines and brick-wall dynamics. Each track is imbued with the pulse of a mid-set climax, keeping the rhythm fully torqued and in its respective pocket. Even at its lightest moments, the EP retains a shredded textural quality that feels as raw as it is specific and purposeful, maintaining its optimal cruising speed throughout each additional timbre and riff. As masters of the full sensory psychedelic experience, audio-visual group Zebbler Encanti Experience return to Gravitas Recordings with their newest offering, Freakquency. Coining a musical style they refer to as "psytrap", ZEE shows off their aural dynamism by combining elements from dubstep, psytrance, trap, and other bass music styles into five tenaciously coherent songs. Sound design takes center stage in their creations, transporting the listener into an ever expanding kaleidoscopic world populated by entities that are anything but monochrome. Each track on the EP will also be given it's very own visual treatment, creating an ocular story that challenges popular subjective conceptions of beauty and desolation. Due July 15th, the album will be available through Gravitas as an expected pay-what-you-want download, opening the doors for every listener to ride this Freakquency.

An alluring road unfurls before you. It is vibrant and gravity-defying, filled with oddities uncommonly seen by your typical human. In the distance, you can spot a man, perched aside the pavement. This man, Supersillyus, is your newfound guide down a path that he alone can escort, and the road is titled “Charade”. While this album may only be six tracks in length, contained within each song is a pilgrimage of the strange, curious, and interesting, totally over 40 minutes when combined. While a psychedelic sound design may seem the obvious focal point, the intricate drum work and charming melodic songwriting should not go unnoticed to the observant individual.
