The band formed in 2007. With the members; Gustaf Helin, Ludwig Ronquist, Björn Lindén Tunhult and Marcus Barawi they started writing their own music in 2009 from earlier having only played covers.

Drop me Dead has its origins in the small city of Sollentuna, Sweden.
