You can spot Jimmy Edgar's homegrown imprint from twenty paces -- someone at BR HQ genuinely peered at my screen and said, “bit of Ultramajic, eh?” while I was typing this. The warped club constructions falling off the label’s assembly line take many forms, but often serve as an aural reflection of that typically eye-popping artwork: synthetic, pneumatic, and kinda sleazy.

Chambray’s “Rub” flew the freak flag high all through the summer. Now, as a bonus on his Rub Remixes, we have a remix of deep cut “Untitled” by none other than Len Faki. The longstanding techno don remoulds the track into the kind of functional, weaponised tool that laid our Berlin space to waste back in April.

Since his first release on Mobilee Records, the driving and winding 'Princess Guacamole', Rodriguez Jr. has made himself right at home at Anja Schneider's label. 

The French producer followed it up with 'Bittersweet' in 2011, a record home to the glistening pads of 'LoFi Pelican', the mosquito-type synths of 'Shapes I See' and the cloudy, rough-edged textures of 'Bare'.

Auden’s third EP sees the shadowy producer stride familiar lengths of eclecticism while dipping into fresh sources of inspiration.
The title track yearns for the glory days of UK Rave with its sunrise chords overlaying broken beats and drops of acid. The homage is all but shorn on Alan Fitzpatrick’s remix as he contemporises it into a techno bomb with a breakdown to remember. Flexing typical versatility, ‘Simmer Down’ provides the counterpoint with rolls, bounces and jacks in equal measure while ‘Sewer System’ rounds off the EP in a blissed-out discordant ambience.
