“With the project on a whole, I wanted it to depict the ups and downs with my journey so far. Dealing with internal struggles as well as coping with the high expectations of being an artist not only from the listener's perspective, but also from myself as a musician, trying to go against the grain while staying true to myself. I feel like each track is a journey in itself quickly taking you through being at (what seems like) the lowest point in my life, to anger, to spending sleepless nights, working on music and sounds to finally realising that it all serves a purpose.

I think Dispirited kind of speaks for itself. It's an honest view on the lifestyle. We all feel down sometimes and as artists and musicians that pressure is seemingly increased.”

Los Angeles-based producer, guitarist, and keyboardist Shrimpnose is back with Dome of Doom for the release of his new album Before It's Too Late. Scheduled to release May 29th across streaming platforms and limited edition tape, features include Daedelus, Bleep Bloop, and Somni. The record arranges 18-tracks that lean heavy on chopped up electric and acoustic guitar takes, original synth patch designs and layering, field recordings, and an array of beat programming techniques through Ableton 9. This is the first work in his catalog that doesn't feature any sampled elements and all synths and guitars were performed by Shrimpnose. It's one of his most personal and reflection driven albums, soaking in a dire situation and distilling a collection of music that speaks a genuine story of rebirth through life.
