WINAK is the alias of Brandon Martínez, a DJ and producer originally from Mexico City. With over seven years of experience, he has crafted a unique sound within psychedelic music, blending dark, powerful rhythms with immersive energy across both slow and fast BPMs.  From a young age, his passion for art and psychedelia led him to explore the connection between sound and consciousness. His music is more than just a set of frequencies — it's a sensorial experience designed to awaken the senses and guide the dance floor into a deep state of connection with the universe and all living beings.  WINAK has taken his work to international stages, performing at festivals such as Psycristrance, Eudaimonia, and other events across countries including Germany, Thailand, and India. Mz Trip - 1h30 Mix Session

The psychedelic journey I played at Transition 2025 is up and running. 3 hours of storytelling through different styles and some of my favourite tunes of the year. This time, I was most invested in the festival than ever before. So this was a very special moment for me, the start of the Saturday night, where I delivered a dip into my psychedelic world. The dancefloor was steaming from the beginning, and the vibe was high. It's a feeling I bring with me the whole year around. What an absolute blast of music and emotions!!

I started it with slow bpm darkprog and went through the usual suspects: forest prog, forest psy, and topped it up with some serious twilight for some tension release. All in all, I feel very confident this may be my most dear set in the year, I enjoyed every second of it. And I hope you will enjoy it as much :)

Anyway, as the title sais, it is very powerfull music that makes the transition between the night and the first rays of light. This is a part of a set that was played in Belgium. For over two decades, the artist embodied "Olowanpi" as the main extension of his creative spirit. Yet, he recognized that this chapter had reached its natural conclusion – the energetic resonance of this persona having completed its symphony.
He courageously embraces the call for renewal in the grand theater of artistic expression, where personas serve as the masks through which we channel our creativity. 
Like a phoenix ascending from the transformative flames, he resiliently steps forward into uncharted territories, driven by an unwavering desire to explore new dimensions of artistic expression.

A trailblazer going back to the early days, his journey began as a DJ in local discos at the end of the '80s, where he immersed himself in the burgeoning sounds of Acid House and Techno Music. Those formative years, steeped in the raw energy of electronic music's revolution laid the foundation for a career spanning decades and continents.

His sonic journey traverses the globe like a melodic cartographer painting rhythmic stories across continents. From the pulsing hearts of Berlin and Ibiza’s techno temples to the bohemian streets of San Francisco and through the cultural tapestry of the underground scene in Switzerland, his beats have woven themselves into the fabric of iconic events and celebrations, infusing them with vibrant energy. His artistry found resonance in intimate gatherings and transformative festivals – from the mystical grounds of Portugal's Boom Festival, the magical beaches of the Full Moon Festival in Thailand, to the celestial convergence at Mexico's Total Eclipse gathering.

Each performance has been a brushstroke in his evolution carefully engineered through years of devotion to his craft.
