Dark Wedding Ritual @ Fifteen Echoes (PGP Wedding Event) [160-205]

Here is a recording I made a little while back, right before the recent election, and it couldn't have been more fitting a theme, this recoding is the story of how the hero travels through time and space to enter the last frontier, to return with his most priced possession, his soul.

It's the ultimate journey, we all have to make to dive into the unknown, the infinite darkness, the void, and along the way keep our fire burning inside our heart, so when we arrive at the center of nothingness, we can once again bring light to the place where it all started and return with our soul. 

So don't be afraid ever, you are never alone on this journey, me and many that went before you , are with you all along. We will be there from the first to the last step, and I will promise you, you will return safely, sometimes the journey might take longer, and have many twists and turns, but you will return! And all your friends and family will be there to welcome you back, so wake up my child and choose Love and Compassion, and stop being afraid....

Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. For over two decades, the artist embodied "Olowanpi" as the main extension of his creative spirit. Yet, he recognized that this chapter had reached its natural conclusion – the energetic resonance of this persona having completed its symphony.
He courageously embraces the call for renewal in the grand theater of artistic expression, where personas serve as the masks through which we channel our creativity. 
Like a phoenix ascending from the transformative flames, he resiliently steps forward into uncharted territories, driven by an unwavering desire to explore new dimensions of artistic expression.

For now, he is using his nickname as his moniker, eagerly awaiting the inspiration for a new persona, or he may keep this one for some time. Who knows? Everything is possible. <3

Biography Dj Larsik: 

A trailblazer going back to the early days, his journey began as a DJ in local discos at the end of the '80s, where he immersed himself in the burgeoning sounds of Acid House and Techno Music. Those formative years, steeped in the raw energy of electronic music's revolution laid the foundation for a career spanning decades and continents.

His sonic journey traverses the globe like a melodic cartographer painting rhythmic stories across continents. From the pulsing hearts of Berlin and Ibiza’s techno temples to the bohemian streets of San Francisco and through the cultural tapestry of the underground scene in Switzerland, his beats have woven themselves into the fabric of iconic events and celebrations, infusing them with vibrant energy. His artistry found resonance in intimate gatherings and transformative festivals – from the mystical grounds of Portugal's Boom Festival, the magical beaches of the Full Moon Festival in Thailand, to the celestial convergence at Mexico's Total Eclipse gathering.

Each performance has been a brushstroke in his evolution carefully engineered through years of devotion to his craft.
