This spring saw seasoned XYZ contributor Koelle team up with multi-instrumentalist Reza Safinia on Reverie, a two-sided offering which saw the union of electronic tones and orchestral influences into a dance floor affair. Following the great success of Hernan Cattaneo and Hicky & Kalo's single 'Voyage' that reached Beatport Progressive House #1, Plaisirs Sonores Records will present two awesome remixes to complete the triptych.

The first remix come by Croatian-born and Danish-bred master Denis Horvat who elevates the track in his own style and gives it the power to crush any dancefloor into an epic voyage of sound.

Denis Horvat has quickly become a hot topic in the underground music industry, with his melodic signature sound. A self educated producer with a quite simple musical background as a drummer, he managed to put himself on the map, with huge releases on Innervisions, Afterlife and Diynamic.

Fresh from excursions on Gruuv and New Violence, Glaswegian Dalfie returns to Catz ‘N Dogz Pets with three more marching orders. Please stand to attention:
‘Outlaw’ sets the tone with a slinky synth bass groove, a shadow-creeping ambience and a neat sense of momentum that takes you unaware with subtle twists and diversions en route. An ideal opener or transition piece, ‘Outlaw’ whips up an atmosphere like no other.  ‘For It’ adds acidic petrol to the deep, dark fire. Slow-burning with a hip-slinking percussion-tinted groove, it gradually gets darker and darker as we creep further into Dalfie’s 303s. By the time we’re submersed in the breakdown our veins are nothing by circuits and frequencies run through them like blood.
For our final leg of the journey Dalfie leaves us in a brighter mindset with ‘Right Up’. Taking cues from both mid 90s Chicago and late 90s Paris, there’s an unquenchable funk woven deep into the filtered samples, pushing beats, carnivalian percussion and the lolloping bassline. Twisted in places, fluctuating in others, seriously vibrant throughout, this is a precision intersection of house, techno and disco all rolled into one seriously vibed-out party piece. Don’t be a stranger!
