"Gumpevalvi-Wolfpack"
This was the first full track that i finished for this project. Though i had been apart of the project for some time and originaly opted out when i realized that my current situation made it difficult to work on the project. When i jumped back in i started on the basics. I resorted to the "IMAX" process. Starting out by finding a good sample to base the rest of the track on, and eventually layering this with effects, fills and a nice flute melody to further vary the track. Funny enough this is the only track on this album that actually follows the "imax" work process.

Get ready for some epic music. I have learned alot of cool techniques while working on this track, and i have lost count on how many times i banged my head agains the wall in order to finish the composition. I am very happy with the final result though. Only a couple of more tracks remain so more cinematic stuff is on its way!

This one was pretty straightforward production wise. Production process was mostly use and alteration of samples, and a soft and simple synth melody repeating. Cause you kno the deffinition of insanity right?

Sometimes when you are stuck with a track, the best thing to do is to move on to the next one and return later on. This was the second track i started working on this album project, but i got stuck and eventually decided to move on to the next ones. When i continued working on this track i immediatly knew how it was going to turn out and my idea was as clear as the bright blue sky. Wise words from me 2022-Savza TM

"Sieluid Bestojupmi"- "Salvation of souls/Freeing of Souls"

This is the end/credits music for the game. This is continued production from "the game over" track. However since the length of the game over track is only about 15 seconds, i felt it would be kinda unnecessary to add that to the album. Thus i figured i'd just continue working on it and make it as a credits/end song aswell. During the production of this version i tried to achieve a fair balance between victory and defeat. Pretty much a "bittersweet victory/ending". The player has defeated the boss and the souls are now free, but the souls still have to depart into the afterlife/the world beyond.

I have ended up enjoying this one alot because just as it marks the end of the game, it also marks the end of my part in this project. "Mandatory sadface" incoming! :(

This is the menu track for the game, and tbh i had some difficulties trying to figure out how to make this. So i did what i usually do and just start laying sound on the table and just play around. This tend to be a little messy process in the start but it works, aslong as you know where you place and where you link all of the pieces. When i eventually managed to set the foundation for the track, i started layering some sounds together and just strenghten the track towards the end. Also learned how to "kinda" make the "cello" stabs/attack sounds. Random use of sidechain and voila!

"Álgu-The Beginning"
This is is the cutscene music for the game. While producing this i obviously had to keep the cutscene dialog in mind, and have the music follow the same atmosphere as the story as it progresses. In order to synch this up i was lucky enough to have a draft video of the animation, that i could use as a refference. However, since the game developers hadn't aquired the voiceovers and time running short, i figured i had to just finish it asap. Now that the voiceovers are in the animation, it turns out that the cutscene is going to be alot shorter than expected. So back in FL we go! Still going to use this track though, only the version played ingame is going to be shortened with the same/less elements.

Finaly finished up the track structure! Took a while and ended up mixing up the main melody by just altering the patterns a little bit to make it vary a little bit more. What remains is just adding som more sfx at certain points. Make the vocal blend a little bit better and some final mix and master :D

This one started out originally  remix/cover of Rune-Calabria, hence the sax instrument in this song. However i decided to make a new melody with the sax instead since most of the track was pretty much an original idea, with the calabria melody being the only part from the original song. Now the mix in this one is probably borderline awfull but i tried as much i could to get it right. The mastering is also probably not one of my best. This will probably be the last Bass house song in a while since i feel pretty tired of making them, and i want to go back to something calmer. Maybe dive into some deep house idk.
