in the harsh light of a spring noon
the darling buds of leaves turn vibrant
early flowers rejoice in voluptuous infamy

he looks at the sketch of a tea mug
resplendent with exterior colour, then
realizes the real mug in front of the empty canvas

all the houses around him sport antennas
dishes, connecting them to the unseen
unheard, intangible levity of the pertinent ether

once, he spent a fortnight in tuscany
met an expatriate poet who lived in a mill
writing on in the tradition of ezra pound

his first child still had to be carried, then
bulging in front of his chest, strapped tightly
with a length of blue cloth, iridescent

he takes in all of this transient splendour
as a plane's tremor rips open his awareness membrane
reminding him of the first lines of eliot's waste land

NECRONOMICON DREAMS No35 THE STAR MAKERS

IGNIS FERALIS, the second chapter in a four-part cycle, evokes the elements of a cursed and decaying world — a planet collapsing under its own corruption, where the future flickers uncertainly and the abyss draws closer.

Here, fire becomes sound incarnate: a percussion of flames striking against silence, each spark a relentless beat. It swells like a melody unraveling in distortion, crackling as it spreads. Its heat is a low vibration that shudders through bone, its dance a hypnotic sequence of minor tones, merciless and entrancing. At its heart, the blaze is a mechanical rhythm of devastation, primal yet precise, consuming everything in its pulse.
