For the seventh installment is Leonardo Peñalver aka PVR, young producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. From Hard hitting techno to trance vibes PVR wants to give a moment full of dance and sensations.

His taste for techno music came since he was a child, and in 2019 he started producing his own vision letting flow his passion for this culture. The night in Argentina with the right people have been lot of good things, and the guilty to fall in love with this madness. 

Today he is making his way up with lot of projects coming up.

Les presentamos a PVR, profesor de producción de nuestra academia!

PVR, DJ y productor residente en Buenos Aires, inició su camino de la música a fines de 2019 de forma autodidacta buscando plasmar su visión del arte en la música electrónica. Al poco tiempo publicó su EP debut con Hic Et Nunc, y comenzó sus presentaciones en vivo como DJ, siendo residente en la productora de Betechno (2020).

La emoción y conexión con su arte es lo que ha logrado que pueda estar siempre en constante mejora, disfrutando de este proceso junto a sus amigos y colegas que lo acompañan. A principios del 2023 pasó a formar parte del equipo de la academia Tekgen como profesor de producción y director creativo.

Sus presentaciones en vivo se enfocan en generar una atmosfera cargada con sonidos pesados y oscuros, pasando desde el hard techno hacia el industrial.

Introducing PVR, production teacher at our academy!

PVR, DJ and producer based in Buenos Aires, began his musical journey at the end of 2019 in a self-taught way, seeking to capture his vision of art in electronic music. Soon after he released his debut EP with Hic Et Nunc, and began his live performances as a DJ, being resident producer at Betechno (2020).

The excitement and connection with his art is what has allowed him to be constantly improving, enjoying this process together with his friends and colleagues who accompany him. At the beginning of 2023 he joined the Tekgen Academy team as a production teacher and creative director.

His live performances focus on generating an atmosphere charged with heavy and dark sounds, moving from hard techno to industrial.

INSRGNCE proudly welcomes Varon for the first episode of our podcast series. 

Varon is a Colombian DJ who has taken Toronto by storm in a very short time. His industrial characteristic sound packed with fast grooves showcases the export-quality talent that Bogotá, the hard capital of the continent, has to offer. He shows that hard techno goes far beyond screech noises and rumble kicks, playing and intertwining the whole spectrum of techno into his dark and groovy sets, regardless of the BPM.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

Alice Aster: I started my music journey at 14, producing bass house and other harder commercial genres, influenced by listening to a lot of commercial radio and house music. When I moved to Prague, I became socially active and launched an underground techno stage. I was captivated by the raw sounds and unique artistic culture of this scene. I gained knowledge and connected with DJs and producers like Pink Concrete, MagmaOm, and Nina Farrina, who, along with the Prague underground vibes, deepened my love for Hard Industrial Techno.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

Alice Aster: About the set – I envisioned creating an intense, terrifying atmosphere. I wanted listeners to feel a sense of horror, as if they were witnessing a crime scene: scared but captivated. I layered this with dark, demonic spiritual vibes, bringing the listener face-to-face with a terrifying vision of "Diablo." The set is aggressive, eerie, and relentless, incorporating tracks from masters like 96NOISIA, FARZAED, Menace Annihilation, RUSAK, and selections from the SYSTEM label.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

Alice Aster: I've always been drawn to intense, hard music. This set represents my push into the scene, where I've found my sound in Battle Techno. This genre focuses on heavy kicks, gritty, atonal backgrounds, and a relentless drive. It’s not about melodic synths or tonal pads but rather about raw noise, with constant, hard-hitting kicks that feel like a punch to the face.

UPDØWN is an emerging DJ based in Budapest, Hungary who first got into the electronic music scene by going out in clubs. He quickly fell in love with the raw energy of industrial techno and the driving beats of bôchka, which inspired him to start mixing as a hobby.

What began as a passion soon turned into a serious pursuit, as he now works to develop his sound and share it with others. Currently, he's channeling his creativity through DJ sets, with hopes of moving into music production in the future.
