“Jorney Through Poetry” es el Episodio número 2 de mi serie de aventuras donde construyo sets, por medio de la fragmentación, mashups y remix de tracks de música electronica  combinados con diseño sonoro. En esta ocasión jugué con las voces de mis 10 poetas favoritos: Nicanor Parra, Jaime Sabines, Allan Watts, Nezahualcoyotl, Nicolás Guillén, Gabriela Mistral, Julio Cortázar, Jodorowsky, Rimbaud & Allan Poe.

In the mystic realm of 1960s Chicago, Terry Callier, a troubadour of folk jazz and soul, graced the shadowed stages of underground clubs and  coffeehouses. 

In 1972, he released his "Candyman“, a truly powerful seven minute bass-driven soul groove.

After retiring as a musician in the 1980s, Callier's music was discovered by some of London's trip-hop legends in the early 1990s. They invited him for recording sessions, which led to a late taste of commercial success.

In 2024, MAUGLI is taking over, sending "Candyman" on yet another journey with modern sampling techniques.

“Drop The Veil” is the first crack in the mirror.
A rhythmic, spoken-word transmission over transcendent soundscapes, it marks the beginning of D3C0DED- a self-mythology in chapters. Each track is a piece of the story, pulled from the moments where identity breaks, rebuilds, collapses, and finally wakes up.

This isn’t a straight line from lost to found. It’s fragments of truth in the order they hit: ego and ambition, pain and clarity, chaos and awakening. “Drop The Veil” opens the door to that journey—not with answers, but with the question that starts everything: Who am I when nobody’s watching?

The veil lifts. The voice is raw. The mask is gone.
