I have put together a series of deeper 4/4 mixes from my collection, ranging from deep house to the deeper side of techno. Not the type that I usually mix in my deep-space electro mixes or higher energy techno and electro mixes, but a good opportunity to bring something slightly different to the (turn)table!

This mix includes tracks from Vince Watson, ReKaB, G-Prod, Daniel Stefanik and includes a magnificent track from Dylan Forbes from Irish label 393 Recordings. All vinyl of course. Enjoy the journey!

Nuestro segundo invitado: ABSIS (@absis_music ), también conocido como Salva Coromina. ¿Quién es ABSIS? Un DJ que ha sido parte fundamental de la escena barcelonesa desde finales de los 90. Bajo los alias de mouseDown/MouseUp, ABSIS ha sido residente en The Loft (@human_club ) y una figura habitual en el festival Sonar @sonarfestival durante muchos años.

ABSIS siempre ha estado explorando la cara más profunda de la música electrónica moviéndose desde el ambient hasta el techno.

Hoy en día, está al mando de su residencia mensual en el club Laut de Barcelona @laut_barcelona , conocida como "Midline", donde ha compartido la cabina con destacados DJs como Vand, Daniel(i), Unjin, Doctrina Natura, Guillam, Fon, Joachim Spieth, y muchos otros.

Además de su papel en la escena local, ABSIS es el residente del respetado festival MOSTRA en Barcelona @mostrabcn . Sus producciones también se han visto reflejadas en sellos de renombre como Hivern Discs y Oslated, entre otros.

Mike Derer is known for his deeper, rhythmic, hypnotic, psychedelic and spaced out grooves when it comes his DJ sets and producing. In 2016 he started his monthly Northern Parallels club nights that hosted over 60 events in the span of 6 years at Rozz-Tox.  In 2018 he started his label, Northern Parallels focusing on forward thinking techno.

Northern Parallels has played a vital role in the curation and sustainment of the Midwest Techno movement over the last several years. From its influence across dance floors and party promotions dotting the Midwest and beyond, all the way to the esteemed releases and producers that have found their way into the labels roster, Mike has lead the charge in creating a household name in Techno that stands apart from the rest in it’s own unique way. This has led to an illustrious back catalog of some of the best to create Techno in both the modern and early age of the genre putting their works into remix and original content over the past 25 releases to date.

Nico, a music enthusiast hailing from a small coastal town in Galicia, delved into electronic music in 2008, captivated by its profound sentimental atmospheres. Influenced by local DJs and a love for diverse musical genres, he quickly rose to play in clubs across the Spanish northwest.

His musical journey led him to Barcelona in 2015, where he currently resides as a Nitsa Club resident. Alongside Binomi, he co-hosts HIRU, a multi-venue party celebrating club culture. Nico's sets, though refusing to be confined to a specific style, are hypnotic, aiming for a sensory union with the dance floor.
