After 5 years in the Shanghai local scene where she was involved as a dj, and live performer, Elise Massoni moved to Berlin to focus entirely on her music production.
She rapidly got noticed for her subtle blend of broken rhythms and delicate electro which landed her a first EP on Man Band records having her material remixed by Forest Drive West on 2 occasions.
   Being one of those wide-ranging selectors unafraid of drastic bpm and genre shifts, masterfully oscillating between fast techno, IDM, acid, and a smattering of ghetto and electro, Elise marked some notable appearances in some of Europe's most renowned clubs & festivals such as Kaiku (Helsinki), Rex Club (Paris), Dimensions and Flow festival.
   Finally relocating to Paris, Elise started her monthly residency on Rinse France in late 2018 and continues to push her sound forward and signed an opening reshape on François X's Irregular Passion reshape album (2019).
In 2020 she composed 2 short pieces to accompany artists' performances (cf. Tout ce qui ne tourne pas tombe - Chevalive Corporation, Espace Niemeyer Paris).

On the last day of October we take you from Helsinki via Glasgow and Berlin to the crowning of the roster; a Techno, Breaks, Electro, Trance and 'everything else in between' enthusiast, it's impossible to pinpoint IDA to any single sound - her taste transcends across just about every mood you can think of. She's a versatile, charismatic and consistent performer that takes heed from all genres yet has managed to hone a style that is distinctly her own, making her a worthy addition to any lineup. Combine this with the fact she has the knack to really energise and move a crowd, it's no surprise that she's frequently invited back to the clubs and festivals she plays at.

After impressing at shows in Ibiza and Glasgow, Boiler Room invited IDA on her own tour which saw her play a sold-out run of shows all across the UK, with both the brand and Mixmag naming her as one of their 'key ones to watch'. Following a stand-out few years, she was also invited to host her renowned Acid Flash parties at Glasgow's legendary Sub Club, making her a resident of the longest-running underground dance music venue in the world. Elsewhere, Koskunen is fast becoming a regular face all across Europe thanks to her consistent delivery at venues such as Berlin's Griessmuehle, About Blank and Renate. As well as performing solo, she's been invited to play multiple B2Bs with revered DJs like Daniel Avery, in locations like a secret car park in Paris.

With a dedication to make people dance and a passion for discovering lesser-known artists as well as rare, obscure records, starting a label made intuitive sense to IDA. Her SÄVY imprint delivers exactly what she's become known for on the dancefloor - quality, emotive and energising dance music, Ida Koskunen's recognition continues to rise, and rightly so.
