You never know what you might find when you're digging for music!! The mix that started it all!! It's hard to believe that this timeless mix is celebrating it's 15th year Anniversary! Here's the story behind the mix. At the time we were resident DJs at the hottest nightclub in town called 600 North! We were mostly playing a lot of Florida Breaks. But our true passion at that time was the Import sounds coming out of the UK. So one day we both got together and pulled out all of our favorite Imports from the UK. We dropped the mix at the Winter Music Conference that year and it was an instant success! That new sound would open so many doors in the Industry for us. The second thing that we remember it was the first time making a CD versus a Mixtape. Which gave us a little more time to take you on the Journey! Global Breaks Mixed Live on Three Turntables by DJs Dave Maltais and Tim Baker

The Dr's of Rhythm release another Dj Mix from the vault archives on this Throwback Thursday just days away from the 13th Anniversary of this live mix at Club 600 North in Daytona Beach Florida. In 2001 these Djs were also known as DrD and Dj X-Ray and in this mix they are showcasing the Nu Skool Breaks and Florida Breakbeat selections from their Back for More Tour. At the time Dj Dave Maltais was the Dance Music Import Buyer at Future Music Distribution located in Orlando and Dj Tim Baker was the manager and music buyer at Atlantic Sounds in Daytona Beach. This was the last mix ever heard at Club 600 North from the Dr's of Rhythm after a two year residency at the club and just happened to be Dj Dave Maltais' Birthday Bash that night. So if you enjoy this mix make sure to light one up and burn this to cd to lift your spirits up and drop the bass!!! This week from our vault we pull one from my second year at Martini's on Bay recorded live on 2 turntables 20 years ago!! This was a special one I brought in Dave Maltais to join me! I recorded the early edition mix and Dave followed with the late night house party! Until now you were only able to purchase this two disc set at Martini's! Unfortunately at this time I only have disc one I will try to track down the second disc for a future release. We would also like to think James Treadwell for the art work! Here is the first DJ mix for Throwback Thursdays from our vault! This one goes back 21 years ago on February 2002 it was all recorded from vinyl! It would be my first time that I made a Acid Jazz, Downtempo, and World Groove compilation! Little did I know that this would be the start of something wonderful. I was working a day job at a local record store called Atlantic Sounds in Daytona Beach. One day a guy came in, and I gave him a copy of this mix, and the very next day he came back and offered me a residency at Martini’s on Bay Lounge every Friday and Saturday! They were from Miami and they wanted me to bring the South Beach sounds and vibes! This would be the start of a musical journey that would last for the next three years and beyond! Then by combining even more of Dj Tim Baker's rare finds at Atlantic Sounds of "Dirty Beats and Dirty Samples" and the Fresh New Sound of UK Nu Skool Breaks we managed to once again join forces and mix up a live and all vinyl set of some of the finest Bass Dropping Woofer Popping Choons that will be sure to tickle anyone's Funnybone that shares a Love and Passion for this Unique Genre...

These two Djs kick off the mix with some Freaky Nu Skool Vocal Madness that is sure to explode even the most difficult of dreary dancefloors at whatever funktion you have targeted next on the map Getting Everyone the "F" Up, compliments of Mr. Krafty Kuts.
