Barabás Lőrinc (trumpet) and Peter Ibbetson (drums)– Stretching Boundaries

For the first time Barabás Lőrinc Hungarian trumpeter and Peter Ibbetson, British drummer give a concert together. 

Despite their young age, both musicians have been around the world, playing at a number of international festivals and venues, including Montreux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival and Bestival (UK). The two of them met through touring with American Artist Valerie June in 2013.

Beyond the trumpet-drums line up the two creative composers bring keyboards, samplers and loopstations into their act. The music is somewhere on the border of contemporary, jazz and electronic experimental, with a strong emphasis on mixing strict repetitiveness and freedom of jazz.
