Krafty Kuts roots are deeply entrenched in Hip Hop, this mix has been 15 years in the making and it features not just a collection of music that has inspired me  in my career, but exclusive interviews from Hip Hop legends such as DJ Cashmoney, Z-Trip & DJ Numark. 

Hip Hop was the first music to truly touch my soul, there is not a day that goes by that I do not listen to it.  This mix pays homage to the music that has inspired my life, lead my career and touched my soul. This is a re-creation of my set from What the Festival 2015 ( www.whatthefestival.com ) just outside of Portland, Oregon. My set was early afternoon at the Splash Stage, so I keep the vibe mellow and fun: some feel-good house tunes while you are dancing in the pool.

If you haven’t been to WTFest, I highly suggest it, the weekend was amazing, and the Splash Stage is literally a stage with shallow pool for 600 people to dance in and a Function One sound system. Without a doubt the craziest/best stage I’ve had the pleasure to play on. :)
