This song was created in one take, with one microphone. The sparse acoustic number was written during the city-wide lockdown in NYC, and is ultimately a story about embracing change. Described as “healing music”, the song effortlessly blends sonic worlds. Cutler’s folk-driven acoustic guitar strumming is paired with bubbling synthesizers and ambient textures to create a colorful palate that is pleasing to simply float in.

ABOUT THE SONG:
The last few years have shown us that there’s really no simple way to pass energy through the screen, the phone, or the camera. Sometimes you just need to hug another human.

“Vibrate” was written during the chilly months of the 2020 NYC lockdown, and is ultimately about connection through technology. Lyrics like "the window says ‘We’re Closed’" came from signs taped to every door in NYC while the city figured out how to grapple with the pandemic.
