Taken from thee new kompilation release out on Sombre Soniks, entitled 'Thee Babblogues'. This komposition was rekorded in one take using live looping and processing of thee vokal performance.

10 artists were invited to submit rekordings fokusing upon thee Magikal and Ethnomuzikologikal usage of Voice. Thee results range from raw, akoustik rekordings to processed, sequenced pieces; grunts and howls to spoken mantras.

Songs Over Ruins II

"Procession" heralds the reawakening of the acclaimed swedish dark ambient project Desiderii Marginis, an album that sounds at the same time warmingly familiar and inspiringly new. While Desiderii Marginis is perhaps not as prolific as some other acts, it's "quality over quantity" motto always makes it well worth the wait and this is certainly no exception. The eight pieces that make up this new album stand firmly on their own, and yet form an even more remarkable whole. Johan Levin envokes a grand soundscape, beneath the faded remnants of the celestial spheres where timbres have space to grow, evolve and reflect off each other, a sombre, melancholic thoughtfullness, a calm to dwell in, and long back to. The atmosphere of the album is not that of solid darkness, or an abyss opening beneath you, but rather a wintery pale, grey dusk casting long, sweeping shadows. A haze that makes you uncertain if it’s really getting lighter or darker. We're honored to welcome Johan Levin's long standing project to the ever expanding Cyclic Law family.

This is a pre-show tester soundtrak kreated by James BL Hollands and Akoustik Timbre Frekuency for James' short film 'Into The Silence'. Thee first skreening for this was at Modern Jago in Shoreditch as part of thee 'Retina Of The Mind’s Eye' event featuring 20 Artists showkasing new sound and video Works. Using footage from J.B.L. Noel's "Epic of Everest", J.B.L. Hollands finds correlations between not only the initials of the filmmaker, but with his work. Re-editing Noel's footage of George Mallory's fatal Everest expedition of 1924, Hollands resamples his own past audio work to create a vision of artistic work as doomed failure."

Instrumentation utilised by ATF for this piece inkludes Tibetan thighbone horns, singing bowls, bells, gong and shamanik rattle.

In early 2013 I began working towards creating a live set which took the methods I use in making mixtapes and altered them to build soundscapes from scratch in front of an audience. The result is quite different from the standard Traktor-edited approach, allowing me to add as many layers of sound as I can manage, and using more of a natural (for me at least) visual approach to live DJ-ing. Basically I set the program on one or two basic field recordings to start the mix, and then try to keep up the pace by weaving in my own tracks, excerpts from some of my mixtapes, tracks from other artists, and a ton of my favorite sounds. It took a few tries to get the hang of it, finding the right balance between a full "ambient" sound and trying not to overdo things and wind up with a muddled mix of effects. This version is actually my 6th try at mixing on the fly, and is probably the last upload I will be doing with my old laptop and setup.
