I see dead people!

My spiritual pilgrimage began on August 8, 1971, a transformative moment that initiated a lifelong pursuit of divine understanding. Inspired by John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, my journey has been marked by enlightenment and disillusionment, akin to navigating the Slough of Despond. Initially, I adhered to the doctrines of my Baptist training, even engaging in extensive evangelism. However, internal discrepancies between established teachings and my scriptural interpretations, particularly the concept of eternal torment, led to profound doubt.
By my fortieth year in the ministry, my studies had expanded beyond the confines of the King James Bible, encompassing ancient Sumerian texts, the groundbreaking works of Immanuel Velikovsky, and the Book of Enoch. This exploration aimed to resolve my dissonance and led me to question traditional interpretations of key biblical terms related to judgment, punishment, and eternity.
This research coalesced around four distinct, yet interconnected, areas:
1. Meticulous scriptural analysis of the King James Bible, utilizing Strong's Concordance to illuminate original meanings.
2. Research into cosmic events detailed in Immanuel Velikovsky’s Ages in Chaos.
3. The Thunderbolt Project, which builds upon Velikovsky's work to propose a 'Polar Configuration' model of ancient cosmic events.
4. Exploring ancient texts often relegated to the fringes of biblical scholarship: Enoch, Jubilees, and Jasher.
These four areas converge to reveal a hidden narrative of humanity's intertwined history with cosmic events and ancient beings. I aim to demonstrate this remarkable convergence through accessible language and a systematic approach, juxtaposing biblical accounts with Velikovsky's historical reconstructions, the Thunderbolt Project's cosmological interpretations, and detailed word studies. This comparative analysis will offer a fresh understanding of ancient history and scripture.
This journey will undoubtedly challenge conventional paradigms. Like Bunyan's Pilgrim, we will navigate intellectual mountains and spiritual valleys, seeking a more profound truth. Even though this is not a work of fiction, nor a novel intended for entertainment, I hope you will join me on this intellectual and spiritual odyssey as we delve into the depths of ancient wisdom and cosmic mysteries.
