Found an old acapella with Madame Snowflake in my folder, which means as much today as when it was written, and I thought it was time to try to give it a nice setting.
When the foundation was ready, I sent it to David Dunham and asked if he could possibly help with some of his beautiful finger-style playing. And being the gentleman that he is, he immediately plunged into the mysterious room of creation.
A couple of days later I got a couple of lovely tracks with two guitar parts. 
And now you too can share this little journey with us.

Warning, please do not drive or operate machinery while listening to this track which contains ASMR tiggers and was recorded in a frequency other than the 440Hz of most music played on modern radio stations. Always listen to our tracks at a lower volume, as well, preferably through headphones for maximum effect. 

We created this track to soothe the pain we've felt... physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout our body in light of the elections, Covid Chaos, and propensity for discord within us, since we don't agree with the majority of outspoken divisiveness we encounter when leaving our home... since we choose to read from a variety of sanctioned and unsanctioned resources... rather than drinking the kool-aid poured for us from the skewed news and ever-increasingly exposition of the failings of the "sanctioned information only" western education systems.

We asked spirit to guide this project, after the grief we were feeling upon returning home from voting on election day. When we're a gender fluid, lesbian, disabled, veteran in a female physicality... the weight of each of those "minority statuses" BEing within us while approaching, entering, standing in line, and voting amidst signage, campaign representatives we encountered outside as we entered and left the polling center to cast our vote amongst a hugely biased conservative majority who have no problem exercising their "right to free speech," while neglecting their responsibility to extend those same "rights" to "all the people..." can create so much pain and tension within us. We asked our angels, guides, and ancestors to take the pain we were feeling and use it to show us how to express it and release it in a healthy way. 

This was the most amazing experience we've had to date in creating a piece. Every note we played and recorded was Divinely guided and perfectly placed, the first night we worked on this piece. We only made one small adjustment of placement to one segment within one of the instrument tracks. The second night, as we progressed through the same guided request and worked towards completing this piece in record time, compared to most of our works, WE FELL ASLEEP 3 TIMES!!! And, we didn't fall asleep during the relaxing trail out; but, during the hypnotic percussive sections!!! (We have to caveat that we aren't a scientist... so we cannot for certain say whether we were asleep or if we simply entered an extreme trance; but, we were "OUT!!!") We "came back," before the song ended... and from what we've learned these past few months... that's more indicative of coming out of a trance; because, if you're asleep, you typically don't awaken before a meditative piece ends; but, you continue sleeping once the song has ended. So, as we stated, we cannot tell you for certain which was the case. We can share that whatever happened, we have felt like we had some sort of serious transformative experience while creating this track with our angels, guides, and ancestors... and since those three instances... we have more inner peace and calm than we've ever experienced, as an adult who's experienced multiple traumas. So, as we state at the beginning, please never drive or operate machinery when listening to our creations. We hope you have as equally a transformative experience.

At home producer of electronic tracks in varying styles - I really enjoy experimenting with melding different genres. 
Been writing songs since the mid 70's whilst playing bass & drums in various bands (the first one was a punk band) and digitally writing since 2006. Retired now, so much more time for having fun with music :) It's just a hobby for me these days; Soundcloud is just a great place to share music & connect with people who have the same interests.
