For this BAF004 Cosmic Cowboys welcome on their label Echonomist and Andrade, two of best new artists of the scene which you’ll be surely pleased to discover if you didn’t had the chance to listen their amazing works on labels such as Dessous, Upon.You, Poker Flat or Time Has Changed just to name a few. On the A-side Echonomist signs a beautiful track which shows all Petros skills and musical taste melting groove, emotion and atmosphere in this amazing cut that magically combined with the silky voice of Mz Sunday Luv offers us one of the best tracks ever release here on BAF. As remixers of “Obstacles” we’re proud to introduce the well-know duo Pol_On (Connaisseur/Systematic) which focus on the essential elements delivering a fantastic deep-house killer that you’ll be looking forward to play. On the B-side here comes the parisian Andrade with “Dancing”, a sweet track with a dreamy and nostalgic feeling that seems to remind us about some all good times dancing in a place we love. Beautiful melodies flavoured with a ‘80’s touch that will surely take you by the hand and bring your imagination back in time. The Berlin based Quell (Ibadan/These Days) on the remix “grind” the sounds of the original mix into a monster club edit that cross the boards between house and techno in that special way for which he got known for. A solid pack that you’re surely going to love. Don’t forget...We make music with the heart!

Echonomist Ft. Mz Sunday Luv - Obstacles (Original Mix)

Sunshine, daytime fiestas, and open-air vibes are some of the reasons why we all love the summer! To celebrate this joyous season, we are excited to share with the latest EP by Hungarian artist James Cole, titled "Guestlist". Featuring two originals and remixes by Zlatnichi and Outway, this EP is guaranteed to turn the heat up this summer.

The opening track, "Guestlist", sets the mood with funky syncopated rhythms introducing the track, and a light yet groovy atmosphere growing on top. Arranged with numerous tense breakdowns and buildups of energy, this percussive roller is an ideal daytime festival roller. Taking the track into the darker side is the deviant remix by Zlatnichi. Stripping back the funky and syncopated percussive layers, this bare-boned track is built on top of a deep, growling bass foundation and mysterious synths flowing throughout.

The second original from James, "Uh Baby", picks up the pace, with accented kicks and snares making you want to move from the off. Fast and bouncy melodies move seamlessly around the track, tied together with a host of vocal snaps, gearing this track to heat up the stage in the day raves and pool-side parties. Outway compliment the original further with their signature medium-paced, heavily grooving sound. Percussive interludes and warm bass riffs drive the track, with the vocals from the original shining through in the breakdowns.

Enzo Elia has crafted his own style of Djing and producing that has taken him all over Europe as well as to Tokyo and Tel Aviv. 
Emerging almost twenty years ago listening to classic Disco, Chicago House and Detroit Techno, he always delivers an “eclectic “journey through his overflowing vinyl collection. Elia’s chameleon approach also finds release in parallel projects like El Freakadell and Balearic Gabba Sound System. His music productions can be found on labels Free Range, Golf Channel, Engrave, Compost Records, Black Pearl, Hell Yeah Recordings and last but not least on the mysterious Re-edit label.

Exclusive Impérieux 'Patron'

DJ and producer Impérieux returns to BOg's label ATLANT with his for a third time with his 'Veran EP' and manages to emphasize his exquiste taste in selecting soundscapes and piecing them together to extraordinary compositions once again. 'Patron' is probably Impérieux's deepest musical approach and starts off with a warm lead synth-chord melody that shortly after is accompanied by a second melody that guides the listener through the first 4:30 mins of the track. Impérieux then combines the synths and adds a beeping sound that outlasts the break and is subbed by slight percussive elements before bringing back the warm and deep chords that shaped the tracks character from the start.

Impérieux's EP 'Veran' will be released July 2nd, 2018 on ATLANT Recordings.

PREMIERE: Markey Lloyd - No Way Back (Grisha Ru Remix) [Polyptych]

Finnish producer Jori Hulkkonen needs little introduction, having been at the heart of the electronic music scene for the best part of two decades, recording for legendary labels such as F Communication & Turbo. 2012 saw the highly respected Mr Hulkkonen team up with one of the hottest labels around, Toronto’s My Favorite Robot Records for the release of his latest long player ‘Negative Time’. Now Jori and the label’s A&R team have compiled a stunning selection of remixes created from some of the highlights of the album.

The package kicks off with ‘Step Aside feat Harri Falck(Phonogenic remix)’, a track that sees fellow Finnish producer Tuomas Salmela AKA Phonogenic take the reins and create a pulsing, acidic version that is simply stunning. Next up MFRR stable mate Fairmont gets to grips with ‘Liquid Hologram feat JiiHoo’, turning in mix which steps further into the acid area with a full blooded 303 workout. The Scandinavian connection is picked up once again as Denmark’s Kasper Bjorke gives his interpretation of ‘Vile Talk feat JiiHoo’ offering up an excellent disco tech fusion that does justice to the original song.

Entering the second half of the package we have Of Norway taking apart ‘Do It feat Olga Kouklaki’ and reimagining it as a stripped and spacious slice of techy house with real electronic soul. The penultimate cut sees up and coming artist Sync Mode remix ‘Technowater’ into a taught, bass driven groove that draws on twisted vocal parts and some sterling drum programming. Finally we get a dub version of the opening mix from Phonogenic bringing a Larry Heard-esque vibe to bear in a very good way.
A superb package of mixes that truly do justice to Jori Hulkkonen’s brilliant originals, enjoy!

OZ EP is a five of bright, meaningful tracks that are written live. From retro Juno to fat Moog, sprinkled with magical vocalled percussive powder.

The first track of this 5 track EP is the tittle track 'OZ 'which has already won the hearts of fans of Ibiza Global Radio. Endless waves of bass draw you in and let you go, because it's not just released on Zoom Zoom Records.

Next follows the track 'Page', turning the sheet, you will feel a change in the character of the album, as we delve in to indie dance / dark disco vibes. Energetic and dramatic.

Next, the 'What?' track turns on, as if asking you: “What's wrong? Why not? I want to sound so cheeky”.

Then we have 'ZO', a mirror image of the OZ track, unreal proven explosive power.

Which then carries you to a more progressive sound of the last track - Volen, this is the character, and vocal parts that no Legroni album will do without.
