BASIC RHYTHM

This accomplished and talented DJ/producer and former Rude FM DJ has been working steadily behind the scenes in jungle/dnb for some time and in the last 5 years has had a string of successful releases on labels such as @repertoiresound Sneaker Social Club, Future Retro and Straight up Breakbeat - all this as well as running his own label Raw Basics and preparing for the launch of @musiquenocturnerecords coming this year.  His sound is gritty, his drums are serious and precise and his bass is weighty so you can expect a no-nonsense mix with a lot of rhythm.  Enjoy!

My all Wales-based/Welsh producers' set from this year's Noise Test festival. 
Due to a storm closing the club the first night, I didn't get to play a full set, so I wanted to record the hour when I got back.

Sista-Matic-Everyday Junglist Podcast-Episode 510

Based in Manchester, Pod Imiya plays a mix of jungle and drum n bass styles from all eras, dropping in hardcore, IDM and sped-up electro. Pod Imiya’s sets are usually centred around rough breaks with dark but uplifting selection.Starting out as a regular DJ at Hit & Run, she quickly went on to play at nights across the UK such as Rupture, License to Jungle and Chicken Shop. Since learning to produce, Pod Imiya's tracks have been centered around intricate breaks, ominous bass sounds and ethereal leads, inspired by the production of Spirit, Quartz and Necrotype. Her track 'Dawn' was included on the Repertoire Streetlight Vol 2 featured by UKF and played by Mantra on the Rupture Rinse FM show.
