Soul Deep Recordings is proud to bring you this essential 2 track EP by Lurch & Anthony Kasper just in time for the Summer.  “The Flavour”, starts things off with a touch of class, with it’s jazz horns, soulful piano chords, and tasteful hip hop vocal samples.  The song builds up to the first drop, and what drops is an undeniable dancefloor jam complete with shuffling breaks, a bouncy sub bassline, rattling percussion, soulful horns, and more hip hop vocal drops that encourage the listeners to “Let their hands clap”.  Essential summer soul…
“Fake Tan Dub V.I.P.” takes a bit of a darker approach.  The song opens with haunting chords, dubby efx, and echoing vocals that help fill out the soundscape.  When the drop hits, the bassline kicks in and rolls ever so smoothly weaving in and out of the snapping drum rhythm.  The dubby theme continues throughout the track with efx hits loaded with reverb that slowly fade out into the abyss… Excellent release by two great producers in the scene.  Essential!!
