Following a strong run of singles since going solo again with his Level 2 alias, Pedro Lima returns to V on remix duties for L-Side & T.R.A.C. with his take on their 2016 cut 'Killer Transmissions'. 

First released as a double A-sided single by L-Side, this new mix takes the dark fluidity, brooding bassline, and rhythmic intricacies of the original and flips it for the dancefloors of 2023 in true rolling Level 2 style. Manny seems to have a never ending supply of talent oozing out of it’s corners and cracks - a city with an obviously stellar musical history - a history being continuously added to. 

Motiv is one of the next breed of these Manchester talents, and after having only seemingly recently risen to the surface, his already hugely impressive and wide ranging discography shows that this young producer really means business and is a name that’s here to stay.

It feels like there’s already a ‚Motiv Sound‘, his tracks always possessing a well rounded sound and a coherent and progressive musical structure. This sounds like music made by someone who’s been about for years and is just solidly plying their craft, rolling out lush musical joints one after the other like it’s no big thing. That’s pretty sick.

And so we had to get him on CIA - and not only is he on the label - he’s come with five fresh cuts, just like that, and that’s his ‘Downpour’ EP.
