Today just felt heavy for a lot of people, so this livestream became an opportunity to make people happy, make people smile, and make people forget about some of the shit in their life.  I played stuff that people were asking me to play, and did so with an attempt to make it as cool as possible. You even get an extended Liquid section, which I pretty much never play!

DJ'ing is about far more than just a love of music.  It's the ability to teleport people to a totally different experience.  To transform what they love into something they (hopefully) will love even more.  It is an artform where the joy and vibe of the DJ will 100% shift things, creating a greater communal experience than if someone turned on Spotify.  That is the value of a good DJ: It's far more personal.  

Music is a transformational thing and in a world where everything's seemingly on fire, the dance is one of the few places where we can shut all that off, even if briefly.  I hope something in this inspires you to get lost for a while.  The world will still be burning when you get back, I promise.
