This song Afterlight was inspired by The Lord of the Rings. You know that moment when Gandalf charges in and there’s a child singing in the background with those soaring vocals? That feeling gave me chills and I wanted to capture something similar. It also has a bit of the same sadness as the melody from Naruto, when he’s sitting on the swing alone.

I started with that vibe in mind, something emotional and lonely, but I wanted it to build up into something epic instead of staying sad all the way through. This is what came out of it.
