Already a core artist of the ICD roster, RMS pivots off the back of his recent ep on sister label Stereo One with his first full solo material for Inner City Dance.  Toronto’s Paul Currie has been establishing himself as one of the most prolific and diverse producers to emerge in the last few years via his monthly catalog of releases on Program, Chronic, Deep in The Jungle, Audio Addict and Liondub to name a few. Each passing project peels back another layer to reveal the true range and depth of this rapidly ascending voice in Jungle/ Drum & Bass.  The Sinkhole EP represents some of RMS’s most forward pushing and genre traversing work to date and showcases a producer whose technical ability has allowed him to successfully execute across the full spectrum of the music.

“One Shot” is an in your face rave burner, replete with all the necessary tension and aggression that works so well on a dance floor.  Snapping breaks, monstrous subs, pitched down vocals and twisted stabs tied together by heritage drenched Headz aesthetics.

'On Lock' kicks off with a lazy, swinging beat underneath the dark, twisted bars formulated by GEAR. Ruckus then allows the vocals to take the limelight they deserve, before unleashing a weighty arsenal of ghastly, gritty sonics. Alternating between rhythmic styles throughout the track, Ruckus perfectly clears the stage for GEAR to take the reigns on this one. It is without doubt that the synergy heard throughout this track, cements the name of this unique EP.
