Influenced by sounds and styles of Daft Punk, we created this track and performed it in our opening set for Angel Moreas at Club Parking in Downtown Montreal, back in 2005.  Andrew & Saad or better known as MadeByMonkeys, were not only partners in production, but were instrumental in educating me over the years, in composing, editing and sound engineering a track.  Since 2002, I have collaborated and co-produced many tracks with MadeByMonkeys and I am proud to re-release a lot of the unreleased numbers from our repertoire.

Most of these tracks were pressed to Vinyl only.  So, in order to make the track digital, you would have to record the whole track as it played from the vinyl.  You can still hear the static from the needle, giving the tracks that vintage feel. So here is Vol.2 of my Tribute Series to Cafe Deluxe.  Enjoy and Share...

Syria is in all of us and we are Syria.  My heart bleeds at the sight of what is happening in Syria.  Millions of lives in peril and torment as we continue on with ours, but, what is it that we can really do? Trying to understand what is happening there, is the first step.  Educate yourself so that we are NOT brainwashed by the mainstream media. The suffering of Syria and all other countries that are being bombed by America & its Coalition, should not be dismissed.  I am using what I know, to bring more light to the situation, MUSIC.  The Arabic-Jazz artist Teema, sang this beautiful song with only the Oud. With Her Blessings, I have taken this piece and have composed music around her Vocal and the Oud, to present to you a reminder of the daily terror that the People of Syria are facing. Peace.....
