Alex Lentini & STOMP BOXX return to Drumcode following January’s outstanding contribution ‘Natural Desire’. During the pandemic in 2021, I revisited one of trance history’s most exceptional classics: B.B.E.’s “7 Days & 1 Week.” But instead of going uplifting or nostalgic, I took it somewhere deeper and darker with pulsating 133 bpm hypnotic techno trance vibe.

I wanted to keep the original’s atmosphere intact, but translate that longing into something more mechanical, introspective, isolated, the way that time felt back in 2021.

This version was never intended for release. It lived only in my private playlists and today it finally escapes the archive.
