We here at Second State are thrilled to bring you our new concept entitled HUB. While most labels these days are doing various artists releases to showcase the overall talent on their label, we thought it would be better suited for both our listeners and ourselves to break the mold and bring you a series of true collaborations. Each HUB release will feature a single artist teaming up with others from the Second State family to create an EP of authentic musical compromises. A place where multiple minds find a harmony somewhere outside their own identity and each collaboration conceives a genuinely unique artifact. With this, there is no one we would rather have kick off the series than the man behind the massive EPs; 'Throwl' and 'Doch', Stephan Hinz with HUB One!

Second track of the EP is Next is 'Hak' with Philipp Ruhmhardt. Together they have already made waves with their tune, 'Doch' becoming an anthem almost immediately since it's release last May. This time they are back with a stormer that feels like racing through a metropolis at warp speed. Each chord stab is a quick, bright flash of color as the shakers and hi hats impersonate the rapid pulse of a speedometer. 'Hak' is a white knuckle ride.

Layton Giordani is up next with his trademarked shadowy sound and impeccable arrangement, offering yet another angle of attack. Last but not least are Loco &amp; Jam dubbing things out with bursts of references to the original in key moments, while maintaining a rocksteady vibe sprinkled with discordant stabs.</p>

Clio makes his return to Truesoul with an energetic, 3 track EP. The three tracks cover Clio’s wide repertoire and influences from many genres creating a dynamic, dance floor ready EP. Collaborating with Yvan Genkins on ‘London Rave’, the EP moves seamlessly from the tantalizing crescendos of ‘London Rave’ to the emotive and full force ‘Think Of You’ ending with the slightly heavier ‘No Shame’.

Andre Crom's OFF Recordings hosts talented Ghent producer Charlotte de Witte this month for a splendid new two track EP titled 'Trip'. It arrives with two equally impressive remixes from big hitters Cari Lekebusch (H-Productions, Drumcode) and TWR72 (Float, Planet Rhythm), making for a killer follow-up to the well received 'Sehnsucht' Ep, which dropped on Turbo Recordings a few months back. It’s a monster of a record and undoubtedly the biggest release we’ve had on the label, but after 10 years it seems right to revisit the track and also add some new versions from some of my favourite techno producers." – Radio Slave With Danton Eeprom’s vocal resonating throughout, Faki’s first remix features crunchy snares, ominous chords and shuffling effects before piercing synths come into effect in the latter half. Meanwhile, the second version rumbles forward with its undulating bassline, soaring atmospherics and echoing elements to round up two solid productions exemplary of the Figure founder’s seasoned abilities in the studio.
