Music is colorful, diverse and vibrant as the butterflies. Almost 180,000 different species live in 127 families. The music by Boris Brejcha is like a "Feuerfalter" (copper). On one side the butterfly is relaxing and floating on the wind, but on the other hand he also sets with steam and fire to a fall into a low altitude. This is how it feels when Brejcha makes music.

The fourth album is exactly the description of this "Feuerfalter", a kind of backflash into the impressive career of Boris Brejcha. An album that deliberately shows how the artist works versatile. Times slightly floating, sometimes wild hitting the wing, always full of passion. The influences of his travelings and performances characterize his art again.

This creates a music that may be accompanied on Brejchas audience the whole day: at home, in a relaxed atmosphere or just at night, when the trip through the clubs starts. On the album "Feuerfalter" this individuality is turned on. Brejcha even picks up the desire of his ans to weave a few quieter tracks into his cosmos.

With Adam Beyer's approval I decided to update this track, because I felt the production could be more tight and the original could do with an update. I kept the main elements that made the original so special and built new groove and implemented a shorter but equally powerful break. Its been a weapon in my recent sets. Hope you like it!" Marc Romboy is a key figure in the German electronic music scene, building a
strong legacy for eclectic, boundary-pushing approach since the 90s.
Here he returns to Senso Sounds with two tracks of mind-bending techno.

Psilocybin does not hide its inspiration, the track is a powerful, driving techno tune
with a trippy, psychedelic edge that references 90s acid techno and brings it bang
up to date.

Distorted Sense of Time ploughs a similar furrow, but adds layers of dark machine
funk and acidic synth squiggles that creep into the track, ready to create massive
dance-floor meltdowns in the right hands. A wild ride into the more psychedelic
end of techno.

In the year 1991 when the techno development was becoming a monster wave there was one record on R&S Records which became a game changer in my life.

I´m writing about "Energy flash" by a young producer from Brooklyn called Joey Beltram! I still get goose bumps when I even think about the night when I heard the track for the first time ever at Mayday in Berlin Weissensee.

Everybody was there, from Sven Väth to Frank de Wulf, from Speedy J to The Hypnotist (god bless you, Caspar). So you can imagine how happy I am now that Joey remixed "The overture" and yesss, again he made a monster tune. Thanx to Christian Smith for realizing this project...

After the positive reactions on "Diablo", Oliver and I naturally decided to dive into a follow-up (with a rather appropriate title)! Not sure why we chose Spanish names but we seemed to be onto a good thing so we decided to keep nurturing those creative instincts. We had quite a few ideas going back and forth with this one, hence the two-part approach to the final version. Conceptually and with the working title, we wanted to take a lighter approach to this one, creating something less sinister than "Diablo" and I think that we succeeded nicely, helping to eventually take things into our "Elements" series. I should also mention how excited we were to have a brilliant Gaiser mix for this! - Dubfire
