Moby is a name synonymous with us all in the electronic music world and we are lucky enough to have been able to hand select some Drumcode artists to remix his work. This 9 track package included remixes from Enrico Sangiuliano, Dense & Pika, Bart Skils, Alan Fitzpatrick, Marco Faraone, Tiger Stripes, Manic Brothers and Luca Agnelli. Each one has been thought out and accomplished with precision using some of Moby’s synonymous samples.

With her trademark shock of untamed dark hair, the Nigeria-born artist can be spotted in a DJ booth by profile alone, rocking crowds before she even drops a record. In-demand all over the world, Moudaber has played everything from intimate after-hours clubs; to revered nightclub institutions like Space, DC-10, Output and Stereo; to massive festival stages, including Glastonbury, Electric Daisy Carnival and Coachella. She’s also been featured by the New York Times, CNN and Billboard.

Nicole follows up her 2015 release on Truesoul with ‘Your Love Picks Me Up’, a 2 track EP featuring a remix from in-form producer Marco Faraone. Kicking off with Nicole’s original, the vocal hook teases itself in and is guaranteed to get stuck in your head. Expect to this one sung back at you on any dance floor. Marco Faraone is one of techno’s fastest rising stars as his remix is a prime example of why, putting his sinister twist on the track with pounding drums and sharp piano stabs. Solo Tamas and Eli Brown are two new, fast rising talents who have been snapped up by the ever on point Moon Harbour for a fantastic two track EP that really establishes their sound. 

Solo Tamas is a DJ, vocalist and producer with ties to Elrow, Sola and Repopulate Mars and in just over a year has quickly started turning heads with his characterful sounds and DJ style. Here he links with the UK’s Eli Brown, another new school artist very much in the ascendancy thanks to big tunes on Relief and Toolroom and high-profile gigs at places like fabric. Their unique enthusiasm and energy shines through in the two off kilter tunes they serve up here. 

First up is the fresh and popping ‘Lucky’, which has girding bass dipping down low and sweeping you up off your feet. Clever filters and FX bring edginess, as does a well-treated vocal and unhinged synth line. It’s colourful and quirky house music designed squarely for the floor and is sure to get huge results. 

Then comes the big ‘Call Me When’, a driving and unrelenting track with elastic drums and stark hits all making you move. More taught vocals and subtle melodic elements are stitched in to make this a peak time, high impact track that never lets energy levels dip. 

These are expertly designed dancing tunes from two of the best young names in the game.
