Bio:
Asintha, aka VegaZ, is one of the most reputed DJ and producer in Sri Lanka. He stepped into the industry by exploring house and techno music in 2015. He gradually grew a fan base and established his name among the EDM enthusiasts in Sri Lanka.

His progressive journey escalated with stellar music production labels like Mango Alley, MNL, Movement Rec,
Sound Avenue, Dopamine, One of a kind, Balkan Connection and 50+ labels. VegaZ got under the spotlight of Maestros.

He exposed his music to the international arena as he played at an event in Russia / pakistan and Dubai as the headliner artist.

Showcasing her diverse taste in music and curation skills Nicole also runs her own label Mood Records, presents In the MOOD radio show and has two recurring club nights for intimate and big room events, In the MOOD and MoodRAW respectively. Nobody has to introduce Felix Kröcher. From his home base in Frankfurt, the very center of Europe, he is able to attract the most simple elements that define sounds in scenes around the continent and like a good alchemist turn them into gold. In Catena EP he demonstrates how simple elements can turn into the deepest, mind blowing creation, without crossing the borders of minimalism. Catena is a master piece of deep techno, while Wigbert's remix to it is a master piece of minimalism and powerful use of synthesizers. In the second track, "Stars", he takes those elements adds a powerful peak time groove that even Umberto Pagliaroli's Tech House remix to it could not astray from. Simply, overwhelmingly, deep.

When Pig&Dan decided to join forces, they began a truly prolific production schedule establishing their reputation as producers of pulsating electronic music that straddled dark house and high-energy techno, whilst creating their signature style of twisted and experimental breakdowns. Since those early days, they have created a repertoire that not many can match and have constantly been releasing their music on the most respected labels and playing at the best events worldwide.

Pig&Dan follow up to their outstanding first EP on Drumcode with ‘Chemistry’. Compromising of three tracks the mood fluctuates with each record to create a well-balanced, dynamic EP. Chemistry is a dreamy listening platform that mixes cyclic synth lines and stabs to crescendo into a late night imagination. The other two tracks are on the harder tip with their thunderous kick drums and disorientated sounds that provide a different edge to the EP with a harder, peak time sound.

Now in its second decade, with a steady stream of the most forward thinking and cutting edge techno productions, Drumcode has one of the biggest selections of releases from industry heavy hitters, whilst not forgetting its future by bringing the newest talented producers into the limelight, where Layton Giordani is now a name firmly within that line up.

The New York born, but now EU based producer first had recognition back in 2014, and his debut release came via Drumcode with his track “Rivington” on the A-Sides Vol5 compilation in 2016.

Full force into 2017, Drumcode has announced the release of Layton’s debut album with “Where It Begins” this February. Consisting of 12 original tracks, the album packs a punch when it comes to no-nonsense techno. Successfully weaving relentless drums and catchy vocal hooks into a selection of thick, brooding, atmospheric tracks.

Teasing us with a sample, Drumcode has released “Good Violence” – thumping from the get-go in true Drumcode fashion, this track is a pure dance floor destroyer. Laced in some heavy low end power, slapping percussion and a hypnotic synth pad to build up that late night tension just right.

The lead vocal in “You Gotta Believe” is taken from their classic “Atomic Slide”, a highly sought after House / Techno track during the first part of the 1990’s. 
Koen continues: “This rave gem made such an impact during those days and brings back great memories, it was really one of my most favourite tracks and I feel extremely proud releasing this new approach as an official collaboration!”.
This 2018 interpretation by our label boss is a big room Techno banger with that Groeneveld stamp written all over it.
