Rebūke returns for his third EP on Drumcode, reinforcing his status as one of the most innovative new artists in techno.

The Irishman’s previous offerings on the label ‘Rattle’ and ‘Obscurity’ have been standouts; interesting and innovative in equal measures, the artist’s grind to push himself sonically and offer up something fresh with each release profoundly evident. ‘Rattle’ was a commercial and critical success, included in DJ Mag’s tracks of 2019 round-up, while ‘Obscurity’, garnered acclaim from all corners of the industry and saw all three tracks hit the Beatport Techno Top 10 (Peak Time / Driving).

‘Wasp’ continues this inspiring vein of form. The lead track is a signature Rebūke’ the kind that of synapse-searing belter that promises to join the canon of his biggest tracks to date. ‘Clarity’ and ‘Redemption’ are shimmering slices of cinematic techno, drawing as much inspiration from film soundtracks, as they do from the rave, reinforcing the artist’s expansive creative approach. ‘Redemption’ will be familiar to many, having highlighted Rebūke’s acclaimed Essential Mix last summer. It continues on the same thematic tip, a stirring widescreen composition, powerful and emotive; it’s destined to be an end-of-night tear-jerker, once it’s safe for parties to return.

"Hidden Love" kicks the ep off with a warm acid groove, deep strings and trippy vocal snippets. Equally deep and dancefloor friendly, a groover for the soulful moments of the dancefloor. 
„Latex“ preents a trippy and monotone drumming sequence which is screwing into your brain with a big climax.
Finally „Blue Elephant“ is combining a dark atmosphere with an uplifting dreamful break.

After repeated chart topping efforts on Kraftek, UK duo Spektre return with the darkly seductive vocals of Berliner Juliet Fox. The rhythmic undulations of the groove create the perfect platform upon which Fox's vocals crawl on hands and knees, beckoning the listener deeper into the sonic landscape like some siren of techno mythology, but it's once the listener is fully entranced by her mantric incantation, "I'm Thinking About You....and the things you do to me...." that the Spektre boys unveil the final piece of this modern masterpiece: the hook. Alan Fitzpatrick keeps moving from strength to strength with his ‘We Are The Brave’ imprint. Following on from their successful summer, the label get back to their underground roots as we enter the club season. Next up we’ve got two deep, ominous rollers from Portsmouth lad ‘A.S.H’. 

Acid tinged 'Kiss' sets the deep moody tone for the record, where colossal kick drums ride along with a delicate, yet impressive array of synths and arpeggios drift over the top. 'Kiss' is remarkably dreamy at the same time as being immersive and full-bodied, the lead synth rips through the speakers and the drops bring the sensations needed for the club.

'Reactor' sets off similarly, but soon breaks off into a bright arpeggiated lead synth line that reverberates through the track right up to the drop. 'Reactor' is then interrupted by a fierce and brooding synth lead! Big drums take control of your feet while the synths take your ears for a ride and the result is a beautifully hard, melodic techno wonder!
