Adam Beyer invites the legendary DJ Rush to make his Drumcode debut, as the pair link for a stirring maiden collaboration, ‘Restore My Soul’.

The DC boss holds a deep respect for the iconic Chicago artist, the relationship stretching back 25+ years to their time touring the German techno circuit in the 90s. The title track builds dramatic tension via elastic synths that oscillate alongside Rush’s vocal, taking things to heady levels. ‘Control’ is a thick wedge of industrial-edged rhythms, with Rush’s famous vocal providing a commanding presence throughout. ‘Take Me There’ is stirring in composition, transitioning from crushing percussive loops to deep techno funk, before working towards a teased out crescendo as Rush’s hypnotic refrain echoes in the air. A deliciously pumping DJ Rush remix of ‘Restore My Soul’ rounds out the package.

Thanks in no small part to a relentless work ethic and a willingness to travel far and wide as an ambassador of sound, Roberts has climbed the echelons of the harder side of dance through sheer determination and creativity. From humble beginnings to underground Los Angeles nights to the stages of international destination festivals like Caprices, BPM, Verknipt, and DGTL, Lee Ann’s vibrant touch sets decks aflame wherever she goes. With NowNow Records, she guides a platform for like-minded artists, urging spontaneity and open-mindedness through its colloquial translation "soon".

After NowNow's first-ever V/A release, Lee Ann Roberts provides her second release Alter Ego via the imprint NowNow Records. The four-track EP is nothing short of what you'd expect from Roberts and NowNow - a ravey throwback with interpretations for all hours. Her eponymous A-side is a percussive driver not for the faint of heart. But, equally dominating as it is enigmatic, Alter Ego sets the pace for things to come. Berlin, by way of Australia's Tred provides the Ep's first remix, a high-powered, relentless ode of rave nostalgia. Next, Antwerp underground hero Milo Spykers takes the reigns with the EP’s B1. His take sees Alter Ego transform into the galactic territory – extra spacey but equally bold. Finally, Berlin's one and only Lokier puts the icing on the 90s rave-inspired cake with her psychedelic, peak-time stormer of a remix. If you've caught any of Lee Ann and Lokier's back-to-backs over the last year, you know what you're in store for here - a staple track of those sets.

French live techno act Jack Carver draws his influences from Dax J, Ramon Tapia, 999999999, nthng and Aphex Twin, which is clearly evident in all his productions. 

Completely self taught, he recently performed live on Bordeaux's RIG radio and also recently signed with Mojoheadz Records plus Sound of Meow. 

For Profile Object, his vision was to create a track that invokes a sense of healing. "You'll always find a strong beat and energy in my music but I really like melody too" says Jack. Talking about the dedication to his craft, "Passion and energy is all you need. A few years ago I bought a little Artura Minilab (love this instrument now). Back then had no clue how to use it or even play a chord" he laughs! "Three years later, i'm a live act but always continuing to learn. Stay humble , be positive, believe and you will achieve!"
