This recording was probably made by a drummer who had no idea about what funky music is. We have fixed every single kick and snare hit to make our customer happy.

This is a typical example of bad performance. Drummer was very loose in his timing during the whole chorus and even missed a cymbal hit on 0:19. We've made lots of adjustments to cymbals and drums to make this take sound smoothly. Despite the large number of edits the resulting take sounds natural (even more natural than original recording) and constantly grooving as hard rock music is intended to. What happened to that missed cymbal? No magic, just a hard work.

The original drum performance was good but we've made this particular part better by aligning snare drum hits to the grid and make them match the straight hi-hat pattern. We've also fixed a number of timing issues between kick and snare to improve overall tempo feeling. As a result, kick and snare drum sound tight together and make the whole part sound solid.
