Gassed to announce the release of our third DRUMGL release Chicken Soup (Dokku Bootleg) as a free download on the soundcloud. A heavy high energy speed garage tune that we’ve been testing out at our parties over the last few weeks.

Dokku is a DJ and producer based in Barcelona who's been making music for over 8 years, focusing on Garage and House tracks with heavy basslines offering a fresh take on traditional UK garage by infusing the classic speed garage sound with some silly energy that brings huge energy to the dance floor.

DRUMGL GREEN SCREEN SESSION 03 // TOASTED

We're too excited to release the third DRUMGL
Green Screen Session, showcasing one of our founders Toasted. Bringing you all flavours of garage, techno, drums and 140 this one is a summary of all the musical styles we've been incorporating in our parties and takeovers since our launch in December last year.

Toasted is a 20 year old, Newcastle-based, Jersey born DJ and producer who incorporates his love for Speed Garage and Jungle/DnB into his high energy bass-orientated sets. He started out on the classical music route gaining a music scholarship to a school near Oxford where he formed rock and jazz bands and developed his production skills focusing on all genres of uk dance music and since moving to Newcastle University he's played for Newcastle collectives such as energycru, big beat manifesto, bass symptom, profound sound, koda and big fat rave supporting artists such as Skeptic, Higgo, ODF, Oppidan, GBSN as well as having releases played and released on Radio 1, Profound Sound and DRUMGL.

We’ve been blessed with this absolute steamer from one of NZ’s biggest names in the scene. Actually incredible that we can get such big artists onboard and we’re super honoured to be a serious part of the international speed garage revolution which is touching every corner of the globe and are too excited to release our first tune with an artist from New Zealand.

Hyan is a heavyweight DJ & Producer based in Auckland, New Zealand. He started DJing in his early teens spinning mainly dubstep in the UKG golden era and it was a natural progression to production after that. Hyan’s style draws inspiration from UK club music mixed with the reggae/hip hop sounds he grew up listening to in NZ. Although he makes predominantly Garage, Hyan isn’t bound by any genre and has releases ranging from Dubstep all the way up to Techno
