The Cool sind ein selbst ernannte "Barage" Band aus Hamburg St. Pauli. Die Musik der zwei ist gedacht für einen schönen Barabend in der Lieblingskneipe an der Ecke. Doch The Cool spielen nicht nur in kleinen Bars, sondern haben z.B. auch schon Deichkind auf der Hamburger Trabrennbahn supported. Im September waren Eckhardt und Lars von The Cool bei uns im Studio zu Gast und sprachen über ihre musikalischen Vorlieben und Wurzeln und was sie gerade nicht mögen.
Die beiden sind bereits so etwas wie Veteranen der Hamburger Musikszene und haben zuvor bereits zusammen bei der Band Captain Howdy gespielt. Bei The Cool geht es jetzt betont rau und low-fi-mäßig zu.
