Drumsauw - Renegade Silence (Free Mash Up)

It has been a while! SAMA is back on his label Maximalist_Minimalist after 1,5 years of silence. This time it's 3 hard-hitting and functional tracks, all heavily played and road-tested by a small handful of artists over the course of the last year.

The second track 'Particularity' does justice to its name with a particular and playful-but-heavy groove, while the spaced out synths, almost breathing percussion and eerie atmospherics try to pull you in. 

The artwork, just like all previous artworks, was painted by Ric Santesteban.

Björn Torwellen returns to CLR with the ‘Codebreaker’ EP. It follows up his debut ‘Binary Fate’ release, which kicked off the label’s 2025.

Cologne’s Björn Torwellen is back on Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Codebreaker’ EP on 8th August 2025. It follows January 2025’s ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker, Torwellen’s first foray onto the label, which won support from the likes of Luke Slater, Truncate, Dave Clarke, and more.

Supercharged drums hammer and shake in Björn Torwellen’s ‘The Overstayer Protocol’. The air hums with raw electric power, zapping through soft dub chords that tumble in the distance, offering a glimpse of another world while its industrial groove rattles on. Title track ‘Codebreaker’ then sees the lasers ride pounding kick drums, building in intensity before dropping into head-warping, brutish and futuristic synth hits, closing out another EP of excellent Torwellen sound design for CLR.

With a career spanning over two decades, Björn Torwellen is known for his discography on labels such as De-Konstrukt, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, nonlinear systems, and CLR. He also heads the German-based educational platform SINEE, offering masterclasses, guides, feedback sessions, and more alongside artists such as Luigi Madonna, ANNẼ, and DEAS.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

The Southern returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR. The ‘Evrything’ EP marks the Italian artist’s fifth release for the label.

Italy’s The Southern comes back to Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Evrything’ EP, marking his fifth release for the label, set to arrive 26th September 2025. Starting with the title track, The Southern incorporates grainy, low-slung drum loops with a repeating vocal. ‘Evrything’ evokes dystopian hypnotism, its low-end pulsing like a heartbeat as its kick drum hammers through the distortion. ‘Circle of Life’, a speedy dub-infused cut that races along its swirling synthlines, follows, breaking away from the darkness to provide a moment of pure dancefloor euphoria.
