Waves is a soulful downtempo jam that takes its inspiration from the ebb and flow of ocean waves. The dusty drums and vintage guitar lines create a bed of nostalgia reminiscent of old surf films like the Endless Summer, while the dreamlike vocal from Alaska Reid adds a modern contrast leading the listener through intricate instrumental electronic sections. 
 
“This song was inspired by the feeling of surfing a wave and the culture built around it. Having grown up surfing in Florida I spent countless hours watching surf movies and hoping to soundtrack them one day. The movie Endless Summer connected with me as a kid and I too dreamed of chasing down perfect waves on remote islands. Waves is the soundtrack to this quest and I hope it can take you somewhere.”

Offshores is a chilled dance track that takes its inspiration from sailing through the ocean waves. The cool grooves, voyaging guitar melodies, and wave-like percussion all aim to give the feeling like you're sailing across the water with no worries to be had.

Sailing has always been in my life thanks to my father who learned from my grandfather; an accomplished sailor. Hinimawé celebrates the very essence of water. Rooted in the ancient Bana Kuma wisdom map, Hinimawé is a feminine archetype that embraces understanding and emotional depth. Viewing the body as a receiver and emitter, or sah u lé, she weaves unity and spiritual harmony. Hinimawé is a patroness of meditation and art-forms that can soothe the restless mind.

In a mesmerizing symphony, the song ventures into a world of downtempo beats, harmonizing with the ethereal sounds of whales, dolphins, ocean waves, and streams. Enchanting trance-like vocals, alongside the Hand Pan and the Ngoni, converge in perfect harmony, guiding the listener into the infinite waters of remembrance.

Hinimawé is the 3rd track from the coming album called “Home” a collaborative project between Shaman’s Dream and Geometrae, featuring multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, and cutting-edge electronic production.

The story is told through the intention of each song and woven together for the listener to observe each element through the body as a felt experience.

The album begins with the sunrise, as each day begins for us here. The seed is then planted with the intention to grow and flourish, to reach the highest potential as a blooming flower. The 5 elements are explored: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. The 5 elements are needed to transform the seed into a flower, for the fullest expression to be witnessed. Once the flower has bloomed, we welcome the moon, to tap into our psychic senses and merge into the dream world once again, to begin the cycle renewed, to return Home.

Serpent Medicine bestows the power to transmute the self, to "shed the skin" of what no longer serves us and to fuse layers of our reality into wholeness. People who are facing illness, obstacles, tragedy or crisis in their lives, and who cannot be physically present during the chanting, can give their names for inclusion in the chanting by phone or letter. Many people have been helped through difficult times in this way, even though they are not physically present, the power of the Mahamrityunjaya mantra is so great.

Drumspyder weaves a web of percussive rhythm, melody, and line. Framedrums, tambourines, and  low whistles mingle with bass beats and ethereal atmospheres, bringing the Celtic and British Islands traditional music into vital contemporary expression.

Scott Sterling has always followed the path of rhythm. Over the course of a long journey through diverse forms of drumming and dance music: avant-garde circus, slinky bellydance troupes, and acclaimed bass-music productions, the one constant has been the beat of the drum. 

Over the past several years he has specialised in the realm of framedrums and tambourines. Influenced by modern framedrum masters such as Glen Velez and David Kuckhermann, but also inspired by the rhythms of the Irish bodhran, he follows a distinctive path through the world of contemporary percussion: fusing his experience with cross-cultural framedrum techniques and Arabic rhythms with a new-found love of Celtic dance music. 

To this rhythmic foundation he adds traditional melodies (played on low whistles and various keyboards) drawn from the folk music of Ireland, Scotland, and England , as well as the rich repertoire of Medieval and Renaissance music from the British Isles. 

Out of the alchemy of rhythm, melody, and his long experience in dance music production, he has forged a unique approach to Celtic and Medieval fusion, where elements of trance, bass-heavy electronica, and ethereal atmospheres mingle into an intoxicating brew. His overall ambition is to connect traditional rhythms and melodies with the contemporary dancefloor.
