MIX009 comes from New Zealand's most prolific raver POISON RAT. Trust me you've prob seen her about without knowing it. Tayla and I have been mates since Outlook '23 after I went alone with no accommodation (don't ask) and she kindly let me stay in her tent for the duration, and we've been mates since. Her taste in music seems to span the entire breadth of what this planet has to offer and it's fitting that this mix is a deep-dive into the weirder side of what we call dubstep. Make no mistake there's some absolute heaters in here (man have i missed that compa tune) but it's a real showcase of the creativity and technicality that can be found lurking in the corners of our little scene. Had the pleasure of having @fred-canelas aka Freud on the show prior to his set at Mentality in Dub in Brussels. This release was written whilst traveling through Vietnam and then onto Aotearoa and Australia on a tour in 2024. 

Personally when in motion, we find making, creating and gathering inspiration through different forms of energy so integral to our production processes - what ever genre it may be. 

We really hold value in the connection to nature and human-human experiences that you find your self in when traveling, for better or worse they shape you and this EP was a true reflection of those times we had.
