SCI+TEC explore new territories with their latest release by welcoming Hungarian producer and rising star AndReew to the family. Having already impressed with his releases for Form Music, Amazing Records and Deeperfect, the young man from Budapest readies the new four track ’Surreal’ ep for his label debut. 

AndReew’s brand of funky, minimal techno carries all the hallmarks of the SCI+TEC sound. The release is lead by the popping melody and rising rushes of ‘Pray’ and the efficient, linear, snare-driven tool that is ‘Connect’.

On the flip we kick off with the hypnotic, rubbery rises and staccato vocal stabs of the title track, before being stripped to the ‘Bone’, with it’s pulsing, twisted siren closing the EP.  A fine opening label salvo from AndReew!

The title track sets the tone for the EP with its stripped down arrangement and seamlessly moves on to the melodic overtones of &#8220;Bipolar&#8221;. The cavernous-yet-crisp &#8220;Connection&#8221; is up next, and &#8220;Physical&#8221; closes the deal with off-kilter percussion and a commanding lead.</p>

Adding more fuel to his on-point fire on Matador's Rukus earlier this summer, Fabio rolls out another profound, entrancing and vast excursion.

'Pulsar' sees Florido fluctuating, folding and unfolding in his deepest mind state as two sinewy acid tendrils entwine and unravel through a deep undulating bass groove with compelling effect. 'Connection' subverts this entirely in classic Fabio style; upping the tempo, texture and terse sense of momentum, the acid bedrock buzzes like a hornets nest as more percussive layers and sweeping alien FX soar and scorch across the spectrum building with a breath-taking state of contemporary techno oblivion. Finally Fabio brings us back down to reality with 'Underneath'. A warm, measured groove brushed with grainy chords, a palpitating bass/kick fusion, tense percussive elements and a slinky naked acid line flexing and arching throughout the centre of the composition; it's a perfect counter that brings both his icy minimalism and evergreen sense of momentum together in way all his best EPs manage to do. Young and talented Techno act Diaz &amp; Parree out of Cologne deliver their debut Frequenza release Act Out Sexually, including Patrick Kunkel &amp; Nihil Young, Carlo Ruetz remixes. 

"Check out the hot and lovely vocals on 'Act out Sexually'. Love the nasty techno mixed along the sensual sexy voice. The groove is definitely one to keep the dancefloor hot; keep it going along w/the trippy acid synth twists rising and rising. Love the pads swiftly coming in for the short drop - nicely done. Back on the beat w/the synths in the background keeping you in suspense with a nice intro from the voice and booming hi hat! 
cool use of that fumbling kick on the intros of both originals - 'Perverse Thoughts' is just that.... this is like a mini-techno perverse symphony; very well developed arrangements and production wise everything seems to be in place. Twisted for sure. 

Patrick Kunkel &amp; Nihil Young remix taking on a more sexy-groovy version easily digestible dance version. Still a very powerful interpretation maintaining the vocals present but not in your face; the thick synths is a nice plus on this version. Love the fact that on both versions the break is nice and short. Should def be on top list for proggy-tech club dj's working this nastiness into people's hips/minds. 

Carlo Ruetz Remix keeping true to the vibe of the original - banging rave/techno interpretation focusing more on the rhythmic side of things along w/those high synths that were re-interpreted very nicely in this version; nasty, perverse thoughts penetrating your neurons.

Andrea Oliva is the latest blue-chip artist to make their debut on Truesoul in 2019.

The respected Swiss DJ/producer has long commanded the juncture between house and techno, releasing on-point cuts on Cadenza, Objektivity and more recently Cuttin Headz and Play It, Say It!. He’s likewise put his stamp on Ibiza as a resident of one of the island’s premiere underground weeklies, ANTS. It was at the Ushuaia party’s opening in May 2018 that Adam Beyer recorded Drumcode Radio episode #411, making Oliva’s debut on Truesoul a natural follow-on. 

The ‘Repeater’ EP is a muscular four-track package, the original built around persistent synth stabs made for sweat box moments. Label favourite Oscar L amplifies the intensity, adding an exhilarating melodic underbelly and fiery snares pushing the vibe towards peak time. ‘Jam Table’ throbs with a rave-injected pulse as scattergun key patterns add a deliciously head-scrambling element to the mix. Drumcode regular Marco Faraone dons a Truesoul cap to contribute a deeper, Detroit-inspired work to round out the pack.

DRUNKEN KONG is the project of D. Singh and DJ Kyoko. In 2010, the two started their project when one day, they
suddenly decided to make a track together. Since then they have released two albums on Christian Smith's label Tronic, The Signs Within (2017) and Where We Start (2020) as well as numerous EPs and singles on labels such as Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent and
Terminal M while they remain active with domestic labels such as Session WOMB. All 7 tracks of their EPs in early 2017 on Tronic and Terminal M have entered Beatport Top 100 Techno chart at the same time, which has made an impact on the Asian and global techno scene. 

Since then, their music has been constantly entering top charts. Their music is gaining a lot of attention/support from
international top artists and DJs such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Monika Kruse, Pan-Pot, Umek, Hernan Cattaneo and Deadmau5, just to name a few. Their release “Repeat” from Octopus Recordings have entered Beatport Techno Top 10, being supported and played by many artists around the globe.

DRUNKEN KONG has always been active in the Tokyo techno scene, playing regularly at major festivals such as Ultra Japan and in clubs such as WOMB, Ageha, Unit, Vent, Contact and Vision Tokyo. The two are constantly attracting new fans with their unique sound and groove. With their powerful DJ style and charisma, the two are able to constantly amuse the audience while expanding their ideas and skills to the next level.
