This song itself is a musical sequel to 'Adventures in your Sleep' from my first originals album. It's always felt like a bit of a theme tune of mine, so I really wanted to approach the track from a different angle. This rendition feels much bigger and bolder. 'Scenes from the four seasons' is a collection of unreleased tracks and b-sides from 2012, running through the four seasons and stopping at some intimate moments in Winter, a tranquil evening in Autumn, two seaside scenes between Spring and Summer. 

I decided to have all these tracks together in this collection not only because of the common theme, but above all because, when I started working on my first modern classical album, that will be released later this year, I didn't want to left all these works incomplete, even if they were mostly expression of ideas and style still imperfect and evolving.

However I'm sure you'll find a moment of peace and tranquillity in these notes, and even some passages that represents your life during the seasons, an intimate moment, as when you're at home and the snow starts falling in winter, or when you first see the seaside in spring.

Bacterial Colony

<a title="Request license for this Track." href="http://www.tracksandfields.com/track/request_license?track_name=Imagine+%28Finalized%29&amp;user_name=jscottrakozy&amp;from_sc=1">Request license for this Track.</a>So this piece is a song for a promo video for a backpack designed by students at BYU called the Tessel Jet Pack. The idea for this piece was to keep the idea of when you were a kid you used your imagination for everything. So the marimba is to give way of the idea of still being a child at heart and by keeping it as simple as possible didn't distract the viewers watching the film, but more so being engaged with what this backpack could do. 

The original idea for this piece was a lil' more rock-driven with a shuffling brush kit rhythm but I decided to scratch that all together and re-thought the entire process, wrote it all out in a single night, and presented it to my client who then presented it to his team and they loved it. So there you have it, all written in Logic Pro with all the guitars from Logic Pro's library with instruments from EWQL Symphonic Gold (strings at the end and the marimbas). Anyway, download it for free and enjoy!
