Mix 005 is brought to us by French Dju:n! She is a seasoned selector and label boss. Learn about her in our interview below:

Dju:n does her first steps as a DJ in 2019 and get noticed because of the numerous music genres she plays. She began mostly with Post-Rock, EBM and Electro then bit by bit added other styles like Ghetto Techno, Breakbeat and Jungle.

In this profusion of tracks, she focuses on those most galvanizing ones and finds unusual ways to mixing vibes we intuitively and falsely would consider too different to fit.

What is your artist name and where are you based out of?
Dju:n, currently based in Brest, France

Can you tell us a little about this mix?
This mix is a nod to my label Purple Records, which promotes breakbeat, jungle and techno aesthetics. I really like this mix, because I was able to really explore my breaks side!

What are you working on now that you are most excited about?
I created a project called Purple Universe, with two friends Swooh and Poppie, which is a booking agency and a label. It takes up all my time, and I want to develop it as much as possible. It's a project of a lifetime, and it's important for me to make a living from my passion and work with people who are important to me.

Any hobbies outside of music?
Alongside this project, I organize parties with my other association WestSound and work for other structures in the same field. My whole life revolves around music. The rest of my time is spent with my friends, and I love going out!

Where can we see you perform next?
The oct 31h, for Halloween, I play with Olympe 4000 and Cuften at La Suite club (Brest) and the nov 11th at Decadanse (Nantes)

Marco Bove, also known as Sboovez, is an Italian disc jockey (in the truest sense of the word), analogic producer, live performer, dreamer, vinyl’s lover and own of Fluctus Soul label. Marco began playing in local clubs in his hometown of Gallarate, becoming well known in the area for his dark and powerful dj set and recently for his live set. His indescribable sound has been influenced by different artist and music genres during the years, starting from typical Detroit techno melodic beats to Chicago vocal house going through Berlin minimalistic waves. Since 2019, Marco is also a Resident DJ of Tech Clubbers.

@heimlichmaneuver ist Teil der @rosa_brisante crew und mit ihrem Sound hat sie es sogar bis nach Istanbul zu diversen gigs und radio shows geschafft. Zwischen proggy house, moody trance und saftigen Breaks spielt sie sich ohne Punkt und komma gekonnt durch die genres.
Und am Ende ist der Bock auf Sommer da. Hat noch jemand beauty Sekt?
