People take it almost for granted but it’s such a technical and logistical challenge to run an artcar in the desert.

Festival grade tech - generators, PA, lighting etc - has to fit inside a tiny bus and kept running for a week. Overheating is the main danger, mechanical wear and tear due to dust and vibration is substantial. Generators need constant refueling. Easier said than done when the fuel truck does not show up due to sandstorms.

Then you need a bunch of security to keep people from being run over or falling off the artcar. The chaos these crews have to manage is substantial.

BIO
Bavarian-bred, Berlin-based, Liesa started her residency at the famous Hamam Nights in Augsburg in 2017.
 
After moving to Berlin, she swiftly became part of the local scene, where she plays numerous parties with her eclectic style between Dark and Italo Disco, Acid and Progressive House.
 
In 2021, Liesa joined the lovely family of Cologne´s label &&booking. 
She currently plays gigs all over Germany and recently started a new electropunk sideproject, so stay tuned for 2024!
