Sleng Teng may not have been the first digital riddim created in Jamaica but it was certainly the most revolutionary.

Wayne Smith took the factory preset 'rock' from his Casio MT 40 Keyboard down to Jammy's Studio and made it the basis for his monster hit “Under me Sleng Teng”. Today, It is among the most versioned of Jamaican riddims. Through 26 years of Sleng Teng history it was re-cut dozens of times by many different producers and released by different labels.

Dreadsquad's version of the riddim, Sleng Teng International, is a tribute to digital reggae music. They built their riddim in their studio in Poland before sending it out to be voiced by many artists around the globe: from Jamaica (King Kong, Perfect Giddimani, Natalie Storm) to UK (Deadly Hunta), from Germany (Dr Ring Ding, Long Fingah) to USA (Prophet Z), from Poland (Marika) to Japan (Rub-A-Dub Market). There are also versions from France (General Good), Norway (Jabaman), Croatia (Stinky Ranks), Hungary (Gregory G Ras & Dannona), Russia (Steppa Style) and Italy (Nico Royale & Mark-One).
