Sl8r - Tingle

M-Zine is an artist based Brussels, Belgium who has had a string of successful releases with some great labels: 31 Records, Dispatch Recordings, Critical Recordings and of course Sofa Sound Bristol.

This will be Sofa Sound and M-Zine's first release of 2020. We have been given three tracks that push the envelope of what M-Zine has achieved before, technically and stylistically. As always with Sofa Sound there is a strong focus on funk. The interplay between drums, percussion and bass speaks volumes and shows M-Zine's understanding of the labels aesthetic.

The ninth (digital) release on the label is a great follow up on to his track on the landmark compilation 'Sofa King Sick Chapter 1' and we look forward to hearing more from M-Zine.

Jonas Xenon is a DJ and Producer based in Berlin, Germany. His mind is wrapped around the darker side of the music spectrum. His love for hypnotic patterns and restless grooves drove him into the depths of techno production. As an artist with a drum and bass background you can still hear and feel the closeness to his roots. Techno with the little pinch of oldschool aesthetic fused together into a refreshing whole.
